“This ryokan was lovely- all the staff were so accommodating and made us feel very special! The ryokan itself is dainty and pleasant. There was public Onsens for women’s and men’s separate (in the women’s there was 1 indoor and 1 outdoor public Onsen with shower room inside). You can also book a private Onsen when you arrive - they have 45 min time slots for 3000 yen! Also very quick walk to Yubatake and the bus station! Would recommend”

“Very closed to the bus station, which was about 5 mins walk. The hotel is building with old architecture, but with modern updates. It was an easy check-in process. Our room was really nice and spacious. The room was clean, but my blank had a small stain on the blanket. The wifi is really good. There is a public onsen on the lower floor for guests to enjoy. We reserved a 45 mins private onsen for 3200 yen. It was well worth it! The room was roomy and clean. It has a private shower and bathroom....

“和の雰囲気の綺麗な建物でスタッフの方々も親切丁寧な対応で館内バリアフリーでスリッパも履かないのが開放的で居心地が凄く良かったです。温泉もとても気に入りました。硫黄の香りプンプンで…これぞ草津って感じでした 1泊の滞在で温泉には5回程入りに行くくらい寛げました（笑）食事も大満足…夕飯のフリードリンクや夜のラーメン等、余計な出費がないのも魅力でした。湯畑へのシャトルバス等、サービス満点です。敢えてあげるなら駐車場からフロントまでの階段…雰囲気は凄く良いのですがキャリーケースを転がせるスロープが欲しいなと思いました。また是非利用させて頂きます。ありがとうございました。 ”

“It is an older building without elevator. It has a small onsen that only 4 people are allowed to use at the same time. Different onsen for male and female I have no problem using the onsen. The room has toilet and wash basin but no shower. Light breakfast is included. The Ryokan is located right in town. Just a short walk to the Yubatake. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a decent place to stay overnight. ”
