“At the time of stay (June 2026), Expedia had this as an 8.4 rating. Unfortunately, I found that to be completely over-rated - on my scale, this place is a 7 at best. We were staying in Benson because we had gone hiking at the Chiricahua National Monument (highly recommended) and I thought driving back 2 hrs to Tucson (vs 1 hr to Benson) might be a better idea. “Room adequate, clean and bed comfy. Shower had clogged drain, which they came and fixed. Had common setting area, which could be cozy and used but bird poop on cushions not very inviting.”
