“A charming hotel from an older era with 2 excellent restaurants. Furnishings are a little dated and hot water takes a long time to reach the bathroom, but that just adds to it’s faded elegance.”

“Booked the cheapest room in the hotel of 10m2 which must have been the worst room in the hotel. The window faced a corridor and not outside. The room and the elevator did not smell clean. The light from the elevator to the room did not turn on so my dog was too scared to walk and enter the dark bedroom from the lift. The receptionist did not speak English and the final straw was that there was no wifi ”

“Solito standard Campanile, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo ma vicini rumorosi porte con allarme che suonavano ogni volta qualcuno lasciava aperto. Musica fino a tardi (dovuto chiamare)”

“Great and easy parking; Staff went above and beyond way for us till midnight; Room was very nice and clean; I can tell the property has been recently refurbished. However, in some spots that still feels old and it has a old building smell”

“A living piece of history and what a fabulous experience to be able to stay and be part of history. For anyone exploring WW1 history this is a must - you are staying in part of it. The hotel is run by wardens who are so accommodating. Long may this run so others can experience this very touching part of history”
