Former coach relay of the 16th century, this gîte has been completely renovated in eco-construction and rehabilitated with sustainable materials. Easily accessed, near the cities of Tarare & L'Arbresle (10 km away), 2 km from the A89 motorway exit (Pontcharra-sur-Turdine), perfect for a stopover or longer stay in the South Beaujolais. On a farm, large stone-built house also including owners' home and farm buildings. Gîte is on 1st floor (accessed via outside and inside stairs) and has separate entrance. Living room with kitchen area. Wc. Lounge (sofa bed providing sleeping arrangement for 2 people). Shower room. 2 small sleeping areas for 2 closed by sliding doors (1 with bunk beds, 1 with 2 single beds). Travel cot on request. Bed linen supplied free. Beds made up on arrival. For longer stays, a compulsory intermediate cleaning will be carried out every 2 weeks by the owners, and charged 30 euros (price per cleaning service). Outdoors : small private gravelled ground (in progress, unclosed), charcoal barbecue, room including shared washing-machine, parking to front. On site : pigs, hens, cows, possibility to visit the farm and buy some farm produce. Railway station of St-Romain-de-Popey 2,2 km away.
