Located near the intersection of Main St. and College Ave, our 1890 commercial building is a historic and unique place with a style all its own - featuring this top floor, 3-bedroom suite for 2-night minimum, weekly or long-term stays. Soft linens, fresh towels, complimentary coffee, comfortable king, queen and single size bed and a 65 in Roku TV are just a few perks of our newly renovated loft that is just a stroll away from Roanoke College, Restaurants, shopping and Salem's Farmer's Market.
The space
Your suite is one of two located above street level retail on South College Ave - currently occupied by a Yoga studio and a former bookkeeping office. This 2-story, walk up home boasts high ceilings and hardwood floors throughout except for new carpeting in the master suite which includes a full bath and dedicated office with ample closet space. The 2nd bedroom contains a king size bed overlooking South College Ave and is connected to the smaller 3rd bedroom with a single bed. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances with trendy, epoxy counter tops and herring-bone style, subway tile backsplash, with exposed natural wood shelving.
Guest access
Guests will have the entire space. Typical of mixed-use buildings from the early 19th century, a recessed central entrance provides access to the second story residential dwellings (This is a secure entrance shared by both apartments and requires an electronic key code). The individual suites are also secured by electronic locks. You will receive both a code to the building and your individual apartment after booking. This is a second story walkup with stairs.
Other things to note
We have workers doing repairs through December to the facade and 2nd apartments so expect the presence of contractors around the building during business hours. Thanks!
