“You’re right on the edge of the best reserve in the area & the game drives are all on the Shamwari Game Reserve. These are better than we ever expected & our ranger/guide, Cillia, was the best! Daniel at the Lodge managed everything for us & was always there for our needs, nothing was too much trouble & he ensured everything ran like clockwork. Cynthia was brilliant, always smiling and calm, Ntombi was also excellent and helped us with our questions about local culture. Overall superb!”

“Beautiful bedrooms, friendly and helpful staff, fantastic hot and cold buffet for breakfast, great chef in the Highlander Pub too, and conveniently located. I enjoyed waking to the Bygones Bookstore and Handmade Coffee (Ciabatta loaves were delicious). Also walke down to Kelly's Beach and then along the beach to Guido's Restaurant. A beautiful lodge with comfortable air con and tranquility (and yes a few necessary spiders) but providing the most incredible authentic experience of the wildlife, animals, birds, flora and fauna of this game reserve.
