Just 11 miles from the vibrant mountain town of Salida, and 11 miles in the other direction from Monarch Mountain, this home is truly a gem away from it all--yet with easy access to urban and outdoor adventures!
World-class skiing, rafting, hiking, and mountain biking abound in this beloved vacation destination, as well as dog-sledding, horseback riding, shops, art galleries, and restaurants. We'll have info on all these local opportunities and more available in our cabin's guestbook.

Built in 2018, this home has all the comforts and amenities you would expect in a modern vacation home. Because of its location, it feels secluded and offers breathtaking mountain views, yet has easy access to US highway 50.
With its spacious bedrooms, you'll find plenty of room for your group to spread out and be comfortable. The oversized upper-level bedroom has a king bed and a TV area with futon for in-suite lounging. The other upstairs room has a bunk bed that is great for children or singles.
We've equipped the home with the fastest wifi available here (15/3MBPS) so it's all set up to accommodate your work-from-home and online schooling needs! If you want to bring up to two dogs, please notify us first so we can make sure you're aware of our house-rule (basically, practicing "leave no trace" pet ownership inside and outside, and keeping dogs off all furniture, bedding, and carpet). Once you agree to those guidelines and understand that any evidence of pets left behind after your stay will result in extra cleaning/repair costs that we will have to pass along to you, then we will send you the invoice for the $100 non-refundable pet fee.
