Michelle,We apologize you weren't fond of our breakfast items. We try to have a nice variety of things to choose from. I do know our pancake machine was out of order for a few days but we have that back and if it was out of order when you stayed we truly are sorry for that inconvenience.

Our largest fear is the smell of smoking in these older hotels. This place is totally revamped and modern. Will return to them if work calls me back there. The breakfast isn't the greatest...but we expected that. And they are less than a minute from a major shopping avenue.

The stay was good and the bed was clean. The room was large. My only complaint is that the bed was very soft and I didn't sleep well. Otherwise it was a fine stay. The lady at the front was wondereful as well!

Charles,Thank you for taking time to leave us a review. Surprised the mattress was too soft, usually everyone comments how wonderful they are. They are new, we just got them in less than a year ago-Posturepedic mattress is what we put in every room.

I was just looking for a place to stay overnight as I was traveling through. I read the reviews on Orbitz talking about how surprisingly nice this place is for a Super 8, and what a great value it was for the price. I decided to give it a try and also pleasantly surprised. The place is very clean, staff friendly and efficient, the bed was very nice with lots of great pillows. It was very quiet, but I was only there from about 10 PM until 6:30 AM. If I need a place to stop again in Salina Kansas, it will definitely be here.

I was surprised to find a nice Super8. In Melrose Minnesota where I live the Super8 is disgusting but i was pleasantly surprised to find that this Super8 in Salina Kansas was clean, comfortable, and conveniently right off the interstate. Best of all it was inexpensive and we really needed a place to stop for the night. The staff were SUPER nice too and very respectful. You dont see that often at hotels in small towns.

Rebecca, I apologize you thought we still had our pool. We have contacted the websites that have our hotel's information and asked all of them to remove the pool information. We will check into this and see which ones still need that removed from. Again, sorry for the confusion.

Clean and quiet
Very quick check-in, pleasant staff, and clean, quiet hotel. Bonus: they appear to be replacing most, if not all, of the beds and mattresses in the hotel. Ours was new and very comfortable.

This hotel is very nice and unique! The only thing I was disappointed was I really had no hot water it was pretty lukewarm, so I’m not sure what the deal is with that but I dealt with it. I definitely would stay here again. The place is clean staff is friendly and breakfast is good.

They are consistent-same gentleman works overnight and is perfectly friendly (doesn't over-chat during late night check in) but he is always, always professional. The hotel is well maintained! Staying there about 1x/month for 5 years.
