“The property was nicely decorated and very clean. Also nicely located on the water. The owners communicated well and seemed friendly in their messages. Two things would make the property better - bug screens on more windows so they can be left open and light blocking blinds in one of the bedrooms. Main issue is the unfortunate fact the train track is close and I woke up twice from trains passing in the middle of the night.”

“Nice location off of Route 100 there was a little road noise but the house is situated a bit back. The seating was super comfy and the kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking. It was awesome to be able to bring our pup! ”

“This house is very rundown. The house was very musty and smelled. Some windows would not shut/lock. The kitchen drawers wouldn’t open unless you lifted up on the Formica counter top. The place is listed as traditional Farmhouse, however we have a family 150 yr old farmhouse and this is not what I consider to be that. It is directly on a busy road and with the house not secure we couldn’t leave our belongings when we left.”

“The maple castle was awesome! Definitely the most unique house I have ever stayed in. You can sit in the hot tub and watch the river or you can walk down a tiny hill to tie up a tube and float in it. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend. ”

“Peak Hill, is a lovely and very clean home, with a fully stocked kitchen and comfy beds. This home is exactly as the pictures that are shown. We had a very small issue with the door lock (battery), called and it was fixed right away, wonderful service. The owner, Geri, we had the opportunity to meet and she is very kind and a pleasure to speak with. We travel alot and l bring pretty much my own kitchen, pillow...... with me where ever l go. We really had a great time, it was spacious and perfect for hanging out with a large group. We wished the weather was better so we could use the fire pit. “The Vines is a beautiful home with luxurious accommodations. We booked this property because it was perfect for our large family, and it truly exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space for everyone—comfortable beds, great common areas to spend time together, and enough room to spread out when needed. We stayed while attending our daughter’s graduation from Norwich University, and the location was ideal—close enough to town, yet peaceful and tucked away. We had a wonderful experience...
