“Clean and quiet, very comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even when I’d asked about a bowling club in Modbury that a family member used, the lovely bar staff said she’d find out for me. Fantastic full English with great sausages. Nothing seemed too much trouble Thanks for a great stay at a difficult time.”

“Siamo stati in questo hotel solo una notte, per visitare la Cornovaglia, comodo vicino a Boscastle Tintagel , Port Isaac . Colazione Buona, proprietario simpatico, la camera pulita . Era vicino alla strada , un po rumorosa ma io ho dormito comunque. Ci ritornerei.”

“The inn is steeped in history and in a remote, quiet spot. Unfortunately our room had been left with unsightly water marks as a result of a leaking roof (which has been fixed) all over the ceiling, especially above the bed, and wall. It made the room look very shabby and for the price not great value. The floating floor feels like it’s a sinking floor in some spots and you need to tread lightly. The bathroom is modern and spacious. The staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly.”

“Very pleasant 1 night stay. No complaints about anything. Hope to return in summer to enjoy the garden. Very popular with the locals by the look of it. It would be my choice of place to meet friends and family if I were local. Loved the roaring real fire when we arrived on a cold wet day. ”

“Staff were friendly, room is very outdated and had a strange smell. Beds were average, shower was good. Breakfast in the morning wasn’t fantastic, we paid £120 for one night stay with breakfast but not sure it’s quite worth that to be honest. Wouldn’t stay here again.”

“Wir hatten das Zimmer Charlestown, mit Blick in den Garten. Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Ideale Nähe zum Bahnhof. Es gibt einen separaten Gästeeingang und eine separate Dachterrasse die jederzeit zugänglich ist. Fragen im Vorfeld zur Anreise wurden schnell beantwortet.”

“Staff friendly and helpful. Room with an ensuite was a bit small with the ensuite diagonally in one corner. Very compact. A full and enjoyable breakfast was included in the cost. Dinner options were also varied. Late 11am check out which was welcomed.”

“Non ha posto auto, ma c'è un parcheggio di fronte che con pochi pounds puoi lasciare macchina tutto il giorno. Hotel da svecchiare, ma comodo. E personale simpatico e gentile. Buona colazione”
