“Had a wonderful weekend! Kids loved the heated pool! Valerie was so accommodating and answered messages quickly! She even stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed! She was so friendly! ”

“We loved the location and communication with the owner. An 8 minute walk to the waterfront and evwn closer (2 minutes) to the Farmer's Market. Note is that the driveway is pretty narrow so no room to turn around (so you need to either back into the drive or back into the road when leaving. Only other thing was we did feel the yard needed to be mowed/trimmed. Besides that minor observation, we loved staying here and would do so again.”

“This is a beautiful property. Plenty of room to accommodate our eleven adults and one grandchild. The pool and hot tub got a lot of use through the week. Both were clean and well maintained. Deck space was plenty for our group to spread out. Great ocean view and nice, clean beach. The two kitchens was a nice plus (especially the two refrigerators- one for food, one for beverages. Would happily stay here again. ”

“We love staying at the Sandlot! This was our 3rd year renting this cottage and we have already booked it again for summer of 2026! We are a family of 8 adults and 7 grandchildren- the layout of the rooms/ bedrooms is perfect for us. The close proximity to the gorgeous beach is a plus, along with the fenced in pool. We highly recommend this cottage to rent! ”

“It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. ”
