“The room was spacious with two queen beds, TV, table and chairs for working or playing a game, mini-fridge, and all basic vanity and bathroom amenities needed. The outdoor pool and hot tub were especially appreciated!! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to return.”

“Property wasn't bad. You can tell it was upgraded from an older appearance. The tub was clogged when we tried to use it and the front desk responded quickly and clear the clog. So it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. It is a two sided hotel and our room was on the second level with only one stair case at the center of the building on each side. So if you have special accommodations then may be request for the lower level. The hotel is 2 minutes from Angels Camp and about 12 to 14 minutes...

“I can't say a bad word about Inn at 161. Location was perfect, property was beautifully and maintained. We will be definitely be staying there again.”

“When we showed up there was a for sale sign on the sign at the entrance and nobody in the office. I had to call a phone number that was on the door to check in. They had to open our door remotely which I felt was not safe. We had an upstairs room, where we had to climb up unsafe stairs with metal plates in two spots to support the broken slats you walked on. The railing going up the stairs was wobbly and made us feel uncomfortable. Both my wife and I are in our mid 70’s and had a hard time with...
