Goditi Country Living al meglio. Situato a breve distanza da San Antonio

  • Questa storica casa Fachwerk fu costruita da Adolph Kappleman Sr. nel 1865. È l'unica casa di Fachwerk in questa parte della Hill Country. E 'composto da quattro camere, una grande camera da letto, ampio soggiorno, una piccola cucina con sala da pranzo e un piccolo bagno con vasca da bagno e doccia. La casa dispone anche di pavimenti in legno. È costruito con borchie e travi in legno di cedro nativo a mano, tutti con il cavicchio e mattoni fatti a mano per riempire. I mattoni erano cotti in un Kiel nel ranch. Il ranch fu acquistato da Herbert e Hulda Mayer nel 1920 e nel 1957 da James e Lillian Mayer. Oggi è ancora una fattoria.

    La casa è stata restaurata nel modo originale nel 1999 da James e Lillian Mayer. E 'arredato con molti cimeli di famiglia e oggetti d'antiquariato. Il soggiorno ha un divano letto, T. V., sedie comode ed è decorato in bordeaux e bianco.

    La camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale, comò antico, sedia e altri oggetti d'antiquariato. È decorato in rosa e bianco. Il bagno ha una vasca con piedi e doccia che è decorata in bordeaux e blu marino. La zona cucina e la zona pranzo sono dotate di lavello, piccolo forno a microonde e piccolo frigorifero, tavolo e sedie d'epoca ed è decorato con un motivo a mela e tende in tela. L'arredamento è molto attraente. Una buca Bar-BQ è disponibile. Godetevi la tranquillità sull'altalena del portico e lo scenario campestre con il bestiame nei campi. Una vacanza caratteristica per divertirsi e rilassarsi.

Weekend getaway

My wife and I spent a weekend in Bulverde and stayed here. The house was very charming as was the property. We would love to stay here again some day.

A look into the past

The house is perfect for what we wanted. Small with kitchen, separate bedroom, living room and bathroom. Loved the history and how it was displayed throughout the house. A/C was appreciated. The porch swing was perfect for morning devotions and relaxing after a busy day. We had car troubles and Beverley was quick to help us, getting friends to help and offer much needed advice. Such a blessing when we were completely stranded in the middle of nowhere. A few side notes the house did smell musty, but opening the doors took care of that immediately. There is no stove/oven in the house but they did provide a grill and all utensils for it. Lastly, the driveway is steep and exits directly into the road. No biggie once we got the hang of it. All in all 10 out of 10 stay. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Peaceful retreat

Nice and cozy cottage with Grannie's atmosphere. Definitely a place to recommend if you are looking for disconnecting from daily hussle.

Excellent, relaxing place to stay

We had an excellent time here. It was super clean and was a peaceful place to hang out. Loved hanging out on the porch swing. The muffins, fresh fruit and juices were awesome. Would definitely recommend this place.

Farm House Near Gruene

If you’re doing a driving trip of the area, and don’t want to pay the inflated prices of staying in town, this is your place. Beautiful drive in all directions. 25 minutes to Gruene. 45 minutes to Luchenbach.

Great relaxing getaway!

Loved the house and enjoyed the porch swing. Felt like we were seeing a part of history staying here. Very relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely stay here again when we come back to the area.

Perfect Getaway

Perfect charming getaway for my husband and I. It was clean, quiet and cozy and we couldn't have asked for anything better. We love the vintage feel of the place and that's why we chose to stay here. Nice to be far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Beverly has been so easy and kind to speak with and I highly recommend staying here!

Clean, comfortable and relaxing!

Having back issues, a good bed is important; I slept well with no morning back ache. I enjoyed the fresh fruit, pastries and other goodies available and communication with Beverly could not have been easier! Thank you for an enjoyable experience!!

A Great Place To Stay!!

Enjoyed the weekend at the old farm home in Bulverde. Nothing fancy just country living. We enjoyed all the antiques the pictures, and the journal, quite interesting !! Brought back a lot of fond memories of staying at my grandparents home off 306 back in the 50's. Beverly was very accommodating leaving fresh fruit and homemade muffins for us, it was great. Plus we enjoyed Sunday evening on the front porch swing with a nice breeze while we had Bar-B-Q from the local restaurant. Great place to stay close to New Braunfels, San Antonio and the rest of the Hill Country has to offer. Thank You, Jim & Barbara

Peaceful weekend getaway!

The farm house was perfect! My boyfriend and I were looking for a peaceful getaway weekend and we had just that here. Beberly was extremely kind and accommodating. Not to mention the delicious muffins & breakfast left for your stay. We will definitely visit again in the future!!

Really a 6 star property

Wow, we really enjoyed this cottage. Antique furniture... like staying back in history AC was great in heat worked better than mine at home Watched deer, bulls, and horses in the yard every day I attended a meeting at the Marriott this home is very close by.

Great experience and wonderfully peaceful

It was perfect for my husband and I. We were attending a conference and did not want to stay on site. It was great coming back every evening to the peace and comfort of this home. It was very spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We grilled one night, everything that we needed for grilling was provided (except the food:)). The fridge was packed with fresh fruit and different types of juices and water. Beverly texted to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a great experience at this home!
