Welcome to the Mallard Manor in downtown Boerne! This homey VRBO is just a short stroll to Main Street where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, breweries, coffee shops & boutiques! It is located next door to one of Boerne's most iconic restaurants & breweries, The Dodging Duck. Enjoy great food, live music, drinks & explore all that Boerne has to offer! Want to stay in & relax? Pour a glass of wine or a cup of coffee & watch your favorite shows, sports or movies on the 65'' flatscreen.

The Cibolo Creek park / trail which is located directly across the street from the house is open. It went under a major renovation over the last 6+ months and turned out great! Perfect area to walk your dog, run the trails or relax & read your favorite book. Fishing is allowed, but is catch & release (bring your own rod & tackle).


Are you bringing your fur babies on vacation? Now they'll have a fenced in area to roam around! I just installed a little dog run on the side of the house in the yard, so now your pup will have a little room to let out a little energy as well as do their business. Please pick up after your dog :) Also, while using the dog run, guests must supervise their dog at all times. Please do not leave your dog in the area unattended.

The location is amazing if you want to walk to businesses in Boerne. It was very nice to be able to have our dogs with us and have the River Road Park across the street. The street noise is pretty loud if that should be a concern for anyone. It is super easy to walk to food locations like the Dodging Duck and Pinchy’s Seafood.

House was exactly what I expected, the kitchen was fully equipped, bathroom was well stocked and bedrooms very comfortable. Caleb was very kind and professional and communicated very well the entire visit.The house is located in a great area within walking distance to several restaurants and to downtown Boerne. It is on a busy street, but heard very little excess noise.I was pleasantly surprised the restaurant next door had a live band the first night, the bedrooms face the restaurant, we did not hear anything once inside the house, even on New Years Eve. I would definitely recommend this house and will plan to stay here again next time in the area.

Delightful Weekend

Great Stay!

Perfect Hill Country Birthday Getaway

I came with my mom to celebrate our birthdays in Boerne. We had the best stay at Mallard Manor. It was the perfect size for the two of us and my dog. And the walk to the shops and restaurants were super convenient. My mom is 74 and has some mobility issues, but she was easily able to manage the walk to the Main Street area and back. And loved having the river walk park area to walk my dog. The home was very clean and comfortable. We had a minor issue come up during our stay and the owner was very responsive and quick to resolve it which was so appreciated.

Weekend Get away

Enjoyed staying here! It was so close to the Main St. it also had a brewhaus right across the street that had great food, beer and wine. Enjoyed crossing the street to walk the trail along the Cibolo Creek. There are so many restaurants and breweries just a little walk away. We will stay here again.

Great Place

The house was very nice and in a great location. There is a walking park right there and only a short walk to the shops on main street. The host check in with us to see if we needed anything or any help. I would definitely stay here again.

Exactly the house we needed

I stayed at Mallard Manor for two nights with my mom and our two dogs. My first impression: this place is CLEAN, well organized, and maintained. We spent the weekend walking across the street to the brewery next door, shopping downtown, and creating art. The AC was cold, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the location was perfect. My only.complaint is minor: the traffic is a bit loud .But i can easily look past that because everything else was even better than expected.
