When we first arrived, we noticed the trash was full and the back gate was broken, but this was no big deal. The stairs for the spa in the back had been broken and had to be put together and there were pieces of the spa laying around the back yard, we weren’t sure if the wind played a part in this or previous guests. Once inside, we noticed a slight odor of what we believed to be raw sewage emitting from the house. Being the house is older, we kind of got used to smell and tried to get past it, but as the night went on, the smell became stronger and unbearable and somewhat hazardous as my wife started to become nauseous from the smell. My wife had also done some research and found a review that someone had complained of this before but we had overlooked that review apparently. We noticed the smell was much stronger after everyone had showered which led us to believe there is a serious problem with the plumbing in the house. We also noticed the spa, the whole reason we chose this place to stay, didn’t completely heat, it didn’t get as hot as we liked. This could be user error, but I found it to be pretty self explanatory. We tried to stick it out, but the smell is what pushed us out and we had to leave. This was a huge inconvenience as now we were rushing around trying to find something else on short notice that was affordable. What made it worse was we had to wait until the next day to figure out whether we could even get our money back so we could go somewhere else. We didnt
