Quick Getaway

Everything was good from the prompt responses from the owner to the proximity to downtown/riverwalk. The only thing for me is that it wasn't located in the best part of town (I wouldn't feel safe walking around outside) but yet I did feel safe inside.

Lay down your hat

Very nice room, loved the space and parking area was good. The only issues was no long mirror to view my cute outfit, keeping coffee choice simple like folders would be awesome. The place was convenient to the market square with no traffic issues.

Just as listed!

The listing is just as the owners state. The rental was homey and the owners add little extras as well. The owners always responded quickly to any questions we had before our stay. I would move the TV to the sleeping area. But that is the only suggestion.

Quiet and efficient

Close to Downtown. Host was responsive. When we checked in the electronic door would not lock. She showed up and had it fixed within the hour. Overall, decent stay for the price.

Very nice and cozy. The bedroom was a little small but it served the purpose of the stay.

The place was clean for the most part; the floor needed to be mopped and there was a coffee container in the Keurig machine. Aside from that everything was clean. The owners were very responsive and took care of our requests in a timely manner. I would stay again.

Lovely place for visiting San Antonio and very convenient for exploring the city. We can walk 10-20 minutes and get to the riverwalk area, although I'm sure it's much hotter in the summer (we were here around January). The place is extremely clean, possibly one of the cleanest stays we're been in. Some minor detail that can be improved is perhaps oiling the main entrance door since it's a bit squeaky. They also provide earplugs which are very nice since the neighbors' dogs sometimes bark and you can hear nearby trains at night. Overall, great stay, I would definitely stay hear again if visiting San Antonio in the future.

Arrival instructions were clear. The pictures and description of the listing provided by the hosts met my expectations upon arrival. The property is not far from popular areas so it can get it little noisy, that did not bother me at all. I never had any issues and all my needs were met during my stay; I never had a need to contact the host for anything during my stay. If I had to nitpick on something it would be the AC unit is located in the kitchenette area and there is a partial wall separating the sleeping area and kitchenette. The room temperature was comfortable, but a fan might help with additional air flow. This property will be my first choice to stay next time I'm in town. Cheers!

Great for couples getaway

This the second time we've stayed at this location (didn't leave review 1st time around because I honestly forgot). Just like our first stay, place was super clean, spacious, easy to access, short distance to Alamodome, Riverwalk, etc. This time around, I carelessly forgot one of my airpods. The property owner reach out as soon as they found it. However by the time she reached out we were on our way to next destination. Long story short, communicating with owner back and forth, she was able to ship my airpod!! I would definitely recommend and stay at this property again in the furfure!! I truly appreciate the owner/staff going above and beyond!

Didn’t complete our stay

We get to our location and the neighborhood was not the best part of town. It said it was walking distance from the Alamo, but I would not have felt safe walking. The AC was not good quality. It was more like a sauna, even turned down as cold as it would get. There was no shower curtain, so no shower could be taken unless we wanted to flood the bathroom. The bed was as hard as pavement. A terrible attempt at sleep. And the snacks wer out of date. We booked two nights and left the morning after our first night.

Unprofessional Hosts and Unsanitary Rental

Upon arrival to my stay, I noticed an unpleasant smell when walking into the place. Once I turned the AC unit on (which had not been on for a while due to how extremely hot and humid it was in the room) the smell got stronger. I decided to take a shower to cool down which led the floors to be a safety concern considering there was no shower curtain or anything to stop the water from spraying onto the floor. There was a mat for right out of the shower but the water sprayed past the mat and caused the tile to be slippery. After the shower I could still smell the odor so I went to the A/C unit and discovered that was where the smell was coming from. I took pictures of the mold-like appearance on the vents and in the unit itself. I informed the hosts that I did not feel comfortable staying there due to health reasons. I did not receive a response until over 24 hours later!! I contacted Vrbo and informed them that I did not even stay at the rental for hardly any of my stay and asked for a refund. THEN the hosted responded after the complaint had been filed and told me they would not be offering a refund. This place is not sanitary and the hosts are not professional at all.
