“The location of this hotel was perfect. It was within walking distance of some really great restaurants. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Check in was easy.
This was the only hotel that we stayed at that we weren't able to utilize a luggage cart because they were all being used. We were told that the hotel only had three. This surprised us with the hotel being the size that it was and made it a bit of an inconvenience.

“The hotel is in a perfect location. It’s right next to the beach. It’s a pet friendly hotel. Checks all the boxes.
The staff was very kind and helpful. The free chairs and towels set up on the beach was a very very nice touch.
The only negative comment would be about the elevators. The elevators had a strong odor of dog urine. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.”

“The good: nice and clean rooms, very nice pools, great steak restaurant with top notch service there. Overall, a nice well maintained resort.
The bad: service at the pool was very disappointing with some rude staff at the bar area. It was also hard to get drinks from the staff. “The structure has been completely renovated since my last visit, improving both the general appearance and the services. The numerous bars operating within the structure were wonderful and very high quality, despite having a room that overlooked the swimming pool where music entertained guests, the room was pleasantly soundproofed and the light background music did not disturb at all.
The bar inside my room was really great!!!”

Locations is very close to everything you’d need. About 5-10 min from nice beaches and about 20-25 min from Downtown SD. Didn’t get to try out the breakfast provided or the pool area.
