Avrai accesso completo all'intera casa con 2 letti e 2 bagni. Beneficiamo della brezza oceanica nella maggior parte dei giorni dell'anno, ma può fare caldo quando il colpo di Santa Ana sulle montagne dal deserto. Abbiamo unità CA portatili in entrambe le camere da letto, ma di solito è sufficiente aprire le finestre e le porte per godersi il bel tempo per cui è conosciuta San Diego. Il lago Murray è un bel parco per raggiungere a piedi (e in parte intorno al lago) dalla casa. Cowles Mountain è anche una popolare meta escursionistica, c'è anche un campo da golf vicino al lago. La serratura della porta è digitale e ti fornirò il tuo codice di accesso due giorni prima del tuo arrivo. Vivo e lavoro nel duplex adiacente, ma viaggio spesso, quindi potremmo incontrarci o meno durante il vostro soggiorno. Ovviamente fornirò la mia e-mail e numero di cellulare in caso di problemi o di emergenza. Il negozio di alimentari più vicino è Vons su Lake Murray Drive. Si trova a circa 1 miglio a nord della casa. Vine Ripe è un ottimo posto per verdure fresche, gastronomia, carne fresca e si trova su Fletcher Parkway a est di Costco su Fletcher Parkway (prendere Parkway Drive East fino a Baltimora, girare a sinistra su Fletcher Parkway. Proprio dall'altra parte del cavalcavia I8 svoltare a destra per Dennys, Marie Callendar o DZ Aikens (un locale preferito con gastronomia in stile newyorkese e banco del deserto e un ristorante kosher). A pochi passi c'è il Lake Murray Cafe e hanno appena aggiunto un piccolo bar. Come notato, sei proprio nel cuore di San Diego. Se hai intenzione di guidare tra l'ora di punta del mattino e del pomeriggio, puoi essere in pochi minuti alle migliori attrazioni di San Diego. Ocean Beach è 15 minuti dritto a ovest dove termina l'Interstate 8. Sea World, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach si trovano a 20-30 miglia di distanza. La Jolla Cove si trova a circa 40 miglia di distanza alla fine della 52 Freeway West. Lo zoo di San Diego, il Gaslamp District Downtown, il Balboa Park e il Petco Park distano tutti 15-20 minuti. La lavatrice e l'asciugatrice si trovano all'esterno a sinistra quando si esce dal patio. Teniamo a disposizione cestelli per biancheria e fogli asciugatrice. Pulire la trappola per lanugine dell'asciugatrice. Non consiglierei di soggiornare qui se non hai intenzione di noleggiare un'auto o utilizzare Uber o Lyft per raggiungere il carrello sull'altro lato della Freeway (o nel centro di La Mesa a seconda della linea che prenderebbe per arrivare in centro ) ma il carrello non va all'aeroporto o in nessuna delle spiagge.

Location near family in La Mesa was why we chose this VRBO, yet plenty close to Downtown (15 minutes /-) with easy access to the freeway. Kitchen was clean but can’t comment on appliances and accessories as we didn’t cook anything, just had cereal and made coffee in the coffee maker (fresh ground coffee and filters provided). Beds were comfortable for us (we’re not picky though), smart TV worked well, Wi-Fi worked fine, however, the place and furniture are dated and need some TLC. Host (Steve) provided easy access instructions and offered early check-in.

top of the vrbo experience

This property is in a great location. As they say, " location,location,location." Location is great however having the owners of the property be the best I have experienced in at leaset10 vrbo rentals is the icying on the cake. They were excellent for all of my 34 days. Highly recommended plus 10 stars for my personal rating

AMAZING LOCATION, QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD.

Beautiful location, quiet neighborhood. Cozy spacious home, nice outside patio & front yard. Washer and dryer in the unit which is convenient. Best deal for the price. Steve the home owner lives minutes away therefore if you need anything he will be there for you if you need him.

Perfect

Steve was very communicative. The process was easy (this was our first time using Vrbo & our first time in Cali). The house was exactly what we needed. It was clean and had all the essentials for a 10 day trip. Our flight got delayed so we had to stay an extra night and Steve gave us a discount for the last night. Overall great experience.

Perfect for Family with Small Children

Centrally located just like the listed describes, the duplex was perfect for a week stay for our family. It might have been small with older children or adults, but for our 3 littles it was perfect. We were easily able to drive to the beach and other attractions. Would recommend a car to get around and parking at the house was easy. Steve, the owner, was readily available for our only issue and he fixed the water leak within a day. The only thing I would like to point out about the house was that it could use some TLC, but it was clean, friendly, and a nice place to stay.

Our host Steve was very helpful and got back to us when we The unit was in a nice neighborhood and was very clean with comfy beds. Our only suggestion is that he updates the unit by fixing holes in the wall s and ceilings and then repainting. Also, a new couch is sorely needed. Also, aout to him.

Perfect location for us

The location was everything we hoped for. We had easy access to the 8 with one exit to and from our family. It was close to the golf course we mainly use, close to La Mesa center, and very close to Lake Murray trail. The master bedroom and bed were comfortable and spacious. The neighborhood felt safe and was very walkable. We met the owner when we arrived and he was very friendly and helpful. We had to contact him a couple of times and his response was quick, courteous, and helpful. The only issues were we would have liked better lighting in the second bedroom and the sofa in the sitting room was difficult to get out of. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to rent this home on our next visit to the family.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE BEACH

Location...location...location... less than 20 minutes to everything in the area. O.K., was 23 minutes to the casino. Shopping, restaurants, drugstores, attractions 3 to 10 minutes away. Never had horrid traffic. Wonderful hosts. That said, place is showing its age, like me. Needs some updating and painting. But, was clean. The one constant complaint we have with vrbo homes: Knives are never sharp. Until this year, have always driven out to Ca., so bringing my own was not a problem. Is a real pain when knives are actually dull. As always, we enjoyed our vrbo stay.

Very convenient with a couple of quirks

Overall, a very nice stay. We lived in SD for 40 years so are very familiar with the area and wanted somewhere between the family members we were visiting. This location was perfect. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable. There is lots and lots of storage. We had everything we needed, although kitchen equipment is minimal if you actually want to cook. There's plenty of street parking. It's very close to the freeway, shopping, etc. The quirks- the bedroom has a multi-outlet adapter plugged into a three-prong adapter plugged into a a wall socket that is probably very unsafe wiring. The internet went on and off constantly, especially at night. And someone next door snored VERY loudly every morning, which was very audible in the living room. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Good place to stay

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It is located in a nice quite neighborhood. We rented two other apartments on this trip where we shared a bathroom (two couples). It was nice to have our own bath. The apartment is located far enough away from most venues that you will need to travel. We drove so we needed to pay attention to traffic. It might have been better to park and ride the metro. The only issue we encountered was the loss of the internet connection one evening but Steve had the cable company out the next day. We would recommend this rental.

Nice neighborhood and location!

Steve was great! We had a small issue and he came and took care of it right away. There was only air conditioning in the bedrooms and it was hot the week we stayed, but it really wasn’t too bad and we were mostly gone during the day anyway. The accommodations were pretty basic, but comfortable and that was reflected in the price. There is a great park with a lake and great walking trails within walking distance from the house. And of course there’s all that San Diego has to offer!

We had a great stay at this location. The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Steve was very easy to work with and replied to messages right away. We had family in Lakeside and visited San Diego, and we were centrally located. We would definitely stay here again when we visit. Absolutely loved the remolded bathroom.

Good location, lack of cooking facilities!!

The house was in an excellent location, really close to freeway to get everywhere quickly and no noise from the freeway. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the cleanliness, particularly under the bed in the second bedroom. Also the china, and glasses and silverware were very limited so didn't use the dishwasher as was never half full and then we needed everything for the next meal. And as for the cookware, 3 skillets and 1 saucepan and no baking sheets for the oven made it impossible to cook a meal!!! Master bed and bath had been updated, but now to the rest of the place!!
