Welcome to Sunny Good Vibes in the historic Little Italy / Banker’s Hill neighborhood. This spacious 1100 sqft unit includes breathtaking views of the San Diego Bay and downtown, a private outdoor deck and is walking distance or a short commute to San Diego's best attractions. Originally constructed in 1928 and has undergone a full restoration which provides modern comfort while maintaining the original style and charm. A chef's kitchen includes all fixings and dine-in peninsula with bay views. Walking distance or short Uber to San Diego's top attractions (see below). Don't hesitate, book now!

Neighborhood description:
The home is nestled in the heart of San Diego in the historic Midtown neighborhood and is within walking distance or a 10 minute drive to some of San Diego’s top attractions including: Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp Quarter, Waterfront Park, Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, Seaport Village, Ocean Beach, San Diego Museum of Art, Old Town State Historic Park, the San Diego Bay, Harbor cruises and San Diego Whale Watching Cruises.

Walking distance to some of San Diego's best restaurants, bars and entertainment: Mister A's, Herb & Wood, Juniper & Ivy, Nolita Hall, Born & Raised, Kettner Exchange, Ballast Point Brewery, Ironside, Camino Riveria, Coca Maya, Cloak & Petal, Cucina Urbana, Azuki sushi, Crack Shack.

SeaWorld trip

Absolutely our most favorite rental we’ve done !! The air planes flying over the house and watching them from the balcony was so much fun for the kids and even my wife and I! Condo was very clean , everything we needed , beds were great , couch was great. No complaints at all. Unit has no parking spot but we always found a spot right in front of the condo.. only a 5-10 mile drive to SeaWorld.. so close I. Fact from the balcony, you can see the giant lit up Christmas tree from SeaWorld. Would definitely rent again. Also the owner was great and answered all my questions and was very nice

Great if you like freeway and airport noise

The area is so noisy! Location was convenient, nice neighborhood close to downtown, but it wasn't mentioned anywhere in the listing how loud it is! The house is next to the freeway, if you sit on the balcony you can watch the cars whiz by, and every 3-10 minutes an airplane flies directly overhead. You can see the airport runway from the house so you are close and it's very loud. Clearly the property managers are aware of this since they stocked the nightstands with earplugs. We would not have stayed here had we been aware. We couldn't leave the windows open or enjoy the balcony even though the weather was perfect.

Top Notch

Our family really loved staying here. The living space was just right for our family (2 adults, 2 older kids). Our son slept on the pull out bed in the living room. We thought it was surprisingly comfortable. The other two beds in the bedrooms were also comfortable. The owner thought of every detail to welcome guests, right down to ear plugs in the bedside tables. We stayed in the upper level of a 2-level home. The apartment has its own entrance. We had a nice view of San Diego Bay area. This was especially nice as we stayed over the 4th of July holiday as we could easily see at least 5 fireworks displays over the water. The home is very close to the airport. This didn't bother us, however I could see that some people would not like the noise. Our son absolutely loved watching the planes taking off and landing. The only challenging part for us was the street parking. If we got back to the home too late, it was a little challenging to find parking in front of where we were staying. The home is close to Little Italy and one could walk down to the port area of the Bay and see the downtown buildings. We would most definitely stay here again. We are thankful for the opportunity to visit San Diego staying at this home.

Great California style home

Our stay was great. The kitchen is well equipped with quality essentials and a gas stove. My daughter and I love to cook, so we did enjoy the kitchen. The living spaces and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. We mostly Ubered to Little Italy, the ferry, the ball park, and Mission Beach. Very convenient. We also enjoyed watching the sunset. Be aware that the home is directly in the flight path for landing. It is also near a busy highway. We are used to big city and highway noise. This may be a no-go for some people.

Comfortable place to stay!

We loved staying here! The host is really nice and responsive! The living room is a very comfortable place to hang and relax. The kitchen was set up well for cooking as you watch the planes fly in. The beds were also really comfortable! It’s a great place to stay!

Beds were comfy. I loved cooking in the kitchen. The patio is an amazing view (binoculars on windowsill) morning & sunset. 2 adults & 2 kids. My son opted for the pull out couch, very comfy. Hillcrest was a very lively area. If here on Sunday, visit the Hillcrest Farmers Market. Delicious cuisines, & local fresh fruit, eggs,veggies etc.

Great home for young family

The home was clean and better than the pictures. The location is walking distance to little Italy, Balboa and Bankers Hill. For a young family looking to live like locals in a new location, it was perfect.

Would stay here again.

Garret was a pleasure to work with. Very responsive and helpful. The property was charming and a good amount of space! Within walking distance to restaurants and easy access to the freeway for a quick drive to the beach!
