We stayed here for three nights and had a mixed experience. The location is the highlight, very walkable, close to the beach, and surrounded by great restaurants and shops in Ocean Beach.
That said, the space felt much smaller than expected. While listed for up to 8, it was tight even for four of us, especially given the small bathroom and the way the kitchen table is configured.
The kitchen is updated but minimally stocked. Very few coffee cups, glasses, and limited pans, so not ideal if you plan to cook.
Check-in was frustrating. We didn’t receive email instructions as promised and had to call for access details. The guest services team was responsive, but it was disappointing to have to reach out for basic information that could have been shared ahead of time. There was no house manual, so we had to figure out laundry, heaters, and the TV (which wasn’t connected to WiFi) ourselves or by text to guest services.
Parking is street-only, and finding a spot in the evenings was often difficult.
Cleanliness was mixed. The couch had stains, and there was a noticeable sewage smell from the toilet. Beds, floors, and surfaces were clean.
Beach amenities were limited (2 beach towels). Most rentals provide enough for the full group and offer more than this.
Overall, great location but the space, amenities, and check in didn’t quite meet expectations based on cost. I lived in OB for years and it was great to be back, but this property left much to be desired for the price.
