Modern Surf Themed Home - Heart of Gaslamp

Step into a modern surf-themed retreat in the vibrant heart of San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. Perfectly blending laid-back coastal vibes with sleek, urban style, this one-of-a-kind home is designed to be your getaway oasis in the middle of all the action.

From the moment you arrive, you'll feel immersed in a surf-inspired haven. Every detail—crisp, modern decor, natural wood finishes, and beachy accents—pays homage to the SoCal surf lifestyle.

7 actual beds no air mattresses or sofa-beds. This is the only 4-bedroom 4-bath for rent in all downtown San Diego. It is close to Convention Center, Petco Park, and Nightlife. Designed in a very cool "California Modern Surf" theme. This is not a party house. Person booking home must be over 25.

Great place to lay our heads in San Diego, we appreciated the many bedrooms and bathrooms. Home was very clean and comfortable. Living room seating is in need of a refresh but did not bother our group much. TV was huge and good for group viewings. Be aware of the neighborhood you are booking in, we had no issue but it is downtown so you need to keep your head on a swivel when walking! Overall, great!

Conference trip

We stayed here for a conference at the convention center. It was perfect for our group of 5 employees with 3 significant others also along for the trip. Close enough to walk to most of our interests & appointments.

Perfect location - GREAT stay!

Wonderful weekend with family and friends celebrating a birthday in the Gaslamp. Perfect gathering place for everyone to meet and walking distance to everywhere we needed to be. 1. Host was immediately responsive with every question and a pleasure to work with. 2. Home was clean and well appointed. 3. Beds were super comfy. Beds/bedroom layout worked great for family and close friends. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!

Conference stay with coworkers

We stayed at James’s condo while in town for a conference. It was four females coworkers and his place perfectly accommodated all of us with 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms on different floors so we could spread out. He even has 3 brand new sets of washers and dryers. 2 in the garage and one on the top floor. We arrived early and he was able to accommodate getting us in early and was super responsive. The place was clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again! Only negative comment is that there are a lot of homeless one block away but that tends to be the norm in San Diego these days.

Great location & spacious

Great centralized location with a short walk to the gas lamp district, short car ride to the zoo, Catalina, and SS Midway. Home was very clean and spacious for 7 adults. James was super responsive when I had a question about parking. Would recommend staying here again!

Great property for a large group!

The house is in a very central location if you're looking to stay downtown. 10 adults fit comfortably in the space. The private garage is convenient for parking a car on site. James was very responsive and helpful...thanks for a great stay!

Great property, great location

This was a great spot for our group. Finding a nice and large place to stay in downtown is not easy. There are many smaller, more affordable places, but when you need space and a great location this place checks all of the boxes. I actually felt like the photos did not do justice in terms of the amount of space. The living area, kitchen, and bathrooms all felt much larger than the pictures portrayed. The host was very accommodating and communication was great. Not to mention the place is VERY nice and a little more upscale than your typical downtown VRBO. With the right size group I would absolutely stay here again. I would mention the parking is a bit tight as described in the description. The garage itself is nice and spacious but the driveway is very narrow so maneuvering can be challenging even for a smaller SUV. We were driving a jeep Cherokee but we were able to make it work. Zero complaints and I appreciate the stay.

Surf House

The surf house was so cool!!! Super clean, well decorated, comfortable beds. Very close to the gaslamp district. So easy to get around. Check in was very easy. Easy communication with the host. Highly recommend this property if staying in San Diego. I would come back and stay here again!
