San Diego Living Point Loma Style (Tra la spiaggia e la baia)

Goditi l'idilliaca La Playa / Area boscosa di Point Loma nella nostra casa in stile bungalow (1.600+ sf) con una splendida vista sul canyon pieno di alberi.

La nostra posizione è unica in quanto è a pochi minuti da tutto il meglio che San Diego ha da offrire, ma è ancora piuttosto appartato. Situato tra il Pacifico e la baia di San Diego; una breve passeggiata attraverso il meraviglioso quartiere rivela una vista mozzafiato sulla baia, sul centro, su Coronado e sul Pacifico! Fai un po 'di più a piedi fino al Bay Front Trail fino a Kellogg Beach o al Sunset Ciffs e al Pacifico.

La casa si trova a breve distanza in auto (da 5 a 15 minuti) da Sea World, lo zoo, il Balboa Park, il monumento nazionale di Cabrillo, le piscine di marea, Sunset Cliffs, Ocean Beach, Liberty Station, il centro storico, il centro, l'aeroporto e il migliore Spiagge a San Diego!

Sentiti libero di portare il tuo cane, ma per favore pulisci dopo di lui. Il quartiere è perfetto per passeggiare con i cani e ne incontrerai molti
residenti amichevoli che camminano con i loro amici a quattro zampe.

We had our dream San Diego getaway staying at Chris’ VRBO and hope to be back soon. The check-in process was easy, communications were quick, and the home itself was tidy, spacious, excellently equipped, and relaxing. Make sure to step outside and enjoy the beautiful renovated porch space, which offers what felt like a luxury retreat feel. Tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood, yet located within a 10 minute drive of the best beaches and downtown areas for walking. Make sure to try Cesarina for a hearty pasta dish and save room for ice cream at Stella Jean’s next door!

Owner still lives at property!!!

Bedrooms weren't cleaned... linen was dirty, bedroom closet doors was zipped tied in 2 rooms and clothes in dresser drawers. office/front bedroom had clothes in closet and dresser drawers. NO room to put our clothes.

Fantastic Place, Great Host

Excelent neighborhood and house but lack of cleaning

We really liked the house and the neighborhood but it really lacked cleaning. On the first night I couldn’t sleep because the sheets were dirty and the pillow had a terrible smell. I contacted Chris on the following morning and he said the cleaning lady made a mistake and put the dirty sheets instead of the clean ones. He told me where to find more clean sheets but when I changed then realized that it was the pillows the one with terrible smell (like dirty hair and that weren’t cleaned for over a month). The floors were also very dusty and I had a lot of allergy because of this. The bathrooms were clean. Besides of the cleaning issue, it was all perfect. It has a very modern kitchen with everything you would need because apparently Chris lives there. The deck was very nice to spend outside. The house is in a very good location and we didn’t have any issues with the neighbors as other reviews mentioned.

Four day weekend stay in awesome SD neighborhood

Perfect for our family of 4 with grandma and the dog in tow! Point Loma area is so convenient to Ocean Beach, liberty station, downtown and harbor area plus Coronado. Perfect backyard patio for hanging out. Very quiet street with cool walking opportunities. The owner Chris was amazingly quick and thorough responding to my questions before arrival. I would definitely return for future stays.

Cute house and great location!

We came to celebrate my 30th birthday, and the house was perfect! The pictures in the listing do not do this house justice. We were blown away with the layout, the decor and the location. We did have a couple of issues with rude neighbors. They have signs around the neighborhood stating “neighborhoods are for neighbors, not vacation rentals” and a couple of them took that to heart. But Chris was a great host, very responsive and helpful the entire weekend.

Point Loma Gem

Beautiful quaint and quiet neighborhood. Close to Liberty Station and Mission Bay. Parking was easy utilizing the driveway and street.

It was a perfect location but we didn’t feel welcome in the neighborhood. The electrical outlet was broken in a bathroom and we lacked closet space for 8 people. The owner responsed quickly to our questions, however. The beautiful lemon in the yard was beautiful. Our family loved being together.

Great home, great location, all the comforts of home.

We just returned home from spending two nights at this property. It was four of us, plus our two small dogs. We have done VRBO rentals routinely for a few years and i will say that this is the best unit we have accessed. The home was extremely clean, very spacious and had everything we could have needed. The living room, dining room and living room were all open and provided ample space to do whatever we wanted. The bedrooms were good sized, and the beds were very comfortable. The extra tv room was also a large open area that was very nice. The neighborhood was extraordinary clean and quiet. It was a great are to walk our dogs. The property was in a great spot, within five or ten minutes from downtown in one direction and Mission Beach in another. Chris (the owner) was extremely easy to deal with and was very friendly and responsive to any questions we had prior to our stay. I highly recommend this property and we will most definitely stay here again. Thank you Chris for the use of this home. It was really a great place to stay for the weekend. Thomas

Quiet, comfortable, clean, and close to beaches and bays!

We spent a three-day weekend with two other couples (6 of us) for our annual destination "retreat." The house is located in a leafy, quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beaches and key attractions in the area. Really enjoyed the updated, bright and spacious great room and kitchen. Perfect for our sized group. Special treat was walking out the front door on Sunday morning and seeing (and hearing) 4 feral Amazon parrots that were visiting the neighborhood that morning. Really cool!

Great house, perfect for our stay

My dad recently passed away. We decided to spread his ashes off the coast of San Diego! Its where my parents met, so it was fitting. I only had a few weeks to find a place to stay close to where the boat is docked. I've nevered rented a house before, so I wasnt sure what to expect or how it worked. I messaged a few other owners, none of them got back to me quickly. One got back to me 2 days before my trip, not acceptable in my opinion. I even requested a reservation but it was denied. So naturally I started to get concerned that I wouldn't find a house for my family. I was about to give up and just go with an over priced hotel when i looked one more time. This house most have just been listed because it wasnt there before. It fit our needs so i took a chance and messaged the owner. He got back to me within a few minutes plus sent me a pre-reservation. So i booked it. He answered all my questions about renting a house, since it was my first time doing this. He was such a great help. Once at the rental he made sure all our needs were met and told us to call him if we needed anything or had any problems. It was an amazing experience for our first time renting a house. I highly recommend this owner and this rental. The house was very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. Its very close to all the tourist spots in San Diego. If I ever need a rental in San Diego again, i will be sure to see if this house is available first. Thank you again for our stay. We enjoyed the house even during our difficult time.

Loved the location and the layout of the home was great.

This home was a great fit for us and our 3 kids. It was close to the grocery store and other great places. It was very relaxing to hang out in the evenings after the beach and play games and have a nice cool breeze flow through the windows. They enjoyed walking the dogs around the neighborhood too. Great place to stay.
