Se stai cercando una vacanza in spiaggia, questa è la proprietà perfetta per te!

Il Mission Bay Park, il Belmont Park, lo storico parco divertimenti con vista sull'oceano di San Diego e che non dimentica di menzionare la spiaggia, si trovano proprio dall'altra parte della strada. Ristoranti, bar, caffetterie, noleggio di attrezzature da spiaggia e mercati, sono raggiungibili a piedi. È possibile noleggiare o portare una bicicletta e fare una crociera lungo la passerella per trovare il posto perfetto sulla spiaggia. Ci sono diverse piste ciclabili nella zona, inclusa quella per Ocean Beach! 

Il Dover Beach Bungalow è accogliente, pulito casa sulla spiaggia che è stata costruita nel 1942. Il bungalow è di 720 piedi quadrati e con solo 4 persone che soggiornano lì, offre molto spazio per rilassarsi. Questa struttura offre un luogo confortevole in cui rilassarsi dopo le vostre avventure quotidiane. Sali sul divano e guarda cosa è disponibile sulla TV via cavo, o magari inizia una nuova serie su Netflix. Durante gli spot pubblicitari, puoi aggiornare il tuo facebook sul tuo cellulare o laptop usando il wifi sicuro che viene fornito. Se il tempo è troppo bello per essere dentro, goditi la cena e gli amici fuori. C'è un grande tavolo con 6 posti a sedere sul patio anteriore con un barbecue a gas disponibile per l'uso se lo si desidera. Dopo aver caricato e avviato la lavastoviglie, controllare i vestiti per assicurarsi di non versare su di essi alcuna salsa BBQ. Se trovi qualche salsa BBQ sui vestiti, va bene, gettali nella lavatrice e asciugatrice situata nel garage.  Quando ti dirigi verso la spiaggia o la baia, non dimenticarti di prendere le tavole da boogie, le sedie a sdraio e gli asciugamani da spiaggia che ti vengono offerti.

It was a lovely stay. The house is older, but everything was in working condition. Location is excellent and the garage and parking spot are a big plus. Check in was easy. All the information came right on time.I would stay there again.

The location was very good. Communication with the host was excellent. The house was cozy and clean, but could use several updates. The sofa needs to be replaced. It’s such a cute home in a desirable area with just a little bit of investment. It could become a five star rating for sure. The lack of air conditioning was only a minor problem, but the fans provided also need to be replaced as they are very old.

So grateful to call this beach cottage home for a week. The parking was amazing! I’d brought my beach cruiser on vacation, and the garage was a bonus. The couch needs replaced, but is usable and who goes on vacation to sit on a couch?? My husband! The location was perfect. I can’t wait to visit again.

The cottage was nice but it was extremely hot with one box fan and 1 standup. Would recommend sometime of AC for next years visitors. We sat outside for a few minutes. If I would have had a broom and somewhere to clean the yard. It is too bad that hasn't been done for a long long time. It is between extremely nice cottages where their yards are extremely nice.

Great location

House is in a great location between the lagoon and ocean. Had all of the beach toys you need and a wagon to haul them. House needs lots of updates. Bed is very creaky, screens are ripped or missing and the furniture is different than what’s in the pictures.

Location is wonderful!

Property is old and could use some maintenance. Most of the windows are missing screens and the couch is very uncomfortable. The kitchen is small but nice. We loved the big garage and additional parking space. Only steps from the Bayside beach! We enjoyed staying here very much!

Beach Getaway Only Hampered by Weather

Adorable property, easy to get to with cute restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Loved having 2 parking spots. Neighborhood was quiet with a lot of other rentals. Minor annoyance was that we were in the flight plan from 6am to 10pm.

LOVED this house!

Having grown up in San Diego and remembering how Mission Beach was once known for charming beach houses like this one, I enjoyed my stay very much. Life can't get any better with the ocean and sunsets on one side and a peaceful bay on the other side. This house has a front patio and a private back patio. A private parking space and a garage that includes beach toys, chairs, and a washer & dryer. Inside is spacious but cozy, clean, and comfortable. Walking distance to iconic San Diego beach bars, Belmont Park, restaurants, and markets. Megan was personable, very responsive and helpful. I would love to stay again!

Cute, Clean House in the Perfect Location

Although the exterior photos show a little more curb appeal than the actual property, the inside was very nice and clean. The property looks all original inside, aside from paint and cleaning updates over the years which adds to the appeal of the property. Being in there is like stepping back into a simpler time and perfectly fits the vibe of the Southern California beach community. If you want nice and new, this property probably isn't for you, but if you want clean, comfy, and convenient and wish there were still more of the original bungalows left in this neighborhood, then this is the place for you. Parking is fantastic, with a driveway spot and a garage that would fit a small car. The garage is extra convenient for storing bikes, surfboards, etc. This property is ideal for 2-4 adults or two adults with 1-2 kids.

ok, but an illegal VRBO per the town

We rented this because of its location and it being listed as a dog friendly property. There was a whit couch with an ill fitting covert to keep the dogs on (so we layered it in towels because a white couch is not dog friendly). We had an incident (outside of anyone's direct control) where a squatter broke into an un-rented home next door and the police told us to go inside until they were done entering that house with weapons drawn to extract the person, which is exactly what happened. We then had someone stop by from the City of San Diego Building and Land Use Enforcement stating this was an illegal short term rental and handed us paperwork to put inside. We didn't feel comfortable leaving the dogs or our belongings alone after all of this so we had a local relative visit a few afternoons so we could get out an explore the local area and while she was there. On our last day we received 3 phone calls, 2 voicemail message, an email, a text message and a VRBO message all within 20 minutes stating we had to take care of the loudness of the dogs "right away and immediately". We headed home and responded immediately as demanded. Dogs do bark, but when you rent a home with a garden patio with half high walls that back up to a populated walk-through for beach and bay access, barking should probably be expected, and we did try and limit it because it annoys us as well when they bark.. The dogs were a know factor before they accepted our rental. We left the next morning, house clean.

Nice/fine stay

We enjoyed our stay in south Mission Beach. I will start by saying that we have never stayed in Mission before, so I do not have any reference for comparison. There were a few things that were fantastic about the property. These included the house being very clean, ample parking, lots of beach toys/supplies, a great location, and excellent communication with Tammie from Windansea. While the house was comfortable, a downside for us was that everything in the house was old. We were not expecting a totally upgraded house, but felt that some money could be put into things like a new bathroom and furniture. Everything worked at least. We would be fine staying here in the future, but will probably spend more money to stay in an upgraded place. Overall it was a nice stay, and would recommend it.

Great spot!

Perfect house for our family of 4. Walking distance to the beach and bay. We were able to walk to the bay and watch the SeaWorld fireworks at night. Love all the out door seating! 10/10 recommend!

Cozy Bungalow!

We really enjoyed our stay! Location - super close to beach and bay, our young kids had no problem making the walk. Minimart and restaurants within walking distance. Playground also walking distance. Drive to Seaworld parking spot was less than 10 min. Home - cozy house for fam of four, beds were comfy, kitchen had everything to cook with. House is a bit dated but that is what gives it it's charm. Some quirky things about the property that is expected in an older home which we enjoyed. You truly can't beat having two yards (one that is enclosed) and a garage, plus a parking spot. There's also sand toys, wagon, and chairs for the beach. Management - we communicated with Tammie toward the end of our 10 day stay and she was extremely helpful. We could tell in her voice that she genuinely cares for helping renters and enjoys what she does. I feel this really goes far in the vacation rental business. Overall, this property is in a great location and has what you need to enjoy your beach time. We look forward to future stays!
