The living room is the essence of comfort, equipped with a queen size sleeper sofa, and a 65" HDTV loaded with Netflix, Hulu, & more. Our ultra-high speed internet ensures that you can attend to urgent work matters, while open spaces make this a great fit for families with children. Our two spacious bedrooms have been designed with a keen eye for detail. King size beds, 65-inch HDTVs with streaming options, sound machines, and an array of charging essentials make for a restful stay. For young parents, we also provide a pack and play. The newly renovated bathroom is equipped with all essentials plus a hair dryer, accessible from the living room for convenience. Rediscover your love for cooking in our fully-equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances such as an oven, stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and blender; together with essentials like dishes and silverware, cooking basics, and a high chair for young diners. Complimentary coffee and tea kept on hand to ensure warm beginnings to your day! A washer and dryer make laundry quick and convenient, and we always provide FREE laundry detergent. And we are lucky to have free street parking - a rarity in this bustling city!

Our beautiful home is hidden in a peaceful suburban neighborhood of Grant Hill, San Diego, only 5-10 minutes drive or Uber ride to the San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp District, Petco Park, Little Italy, Seaport Village, the Convention Center, and Coronado; and about 15-20 minutes to SeaWorld, all San Diego beaches, and La Jolla cliffs. There is also plenty of public transportation to choose from, depending on your destination.
Immerse yourself in the vibe of downtown San Diego with our property situated close to Balboa Park, USS Midway Museum, San Diego Zoo, Chicano Park, and Petco Park. SeaWorld and the La Jolla cliffs are a short 15-20 minute drive away. Looking to celebrate the upcoming summer holidays in style? Our house is the perfect choice for a memorable Memorial Day, a fantastic Fourth of July, or a leisurely Labor Day! Have a BBQ party right in your backyard, or cozy up by the fire pit under the stars - it's all right at your fingertips. When it comes to dining, downtown San Diego offers an array of options. For seafood lovers, the Ironside Fish & Oyster is a must-visit, while the Puesto at the Headquarters offers delightful Mexican cuisine. Our home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with long term neighbors who enjoy their privacy and quiet hours.
- Please be respectful to our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum from 10 PM to 7 AM.
- Please observe the maximum occupancy on your reservation. If you would like more than 6 people to occupy the home at ANY TIME during your stay, please confirm it with us before check-in, otherwise we will charge the reservation holder’s account $75 per person per night for the entire reservation for each unauthorized guest. Parties or events of any kind are PROHIBITED and will result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation. Please note that the premises have decibel noise and crowd detection devices installed to prevent unauthorized parties.
- Illegal drugs and smoking of any kind are PROHIBITED anywhere on the property, including but not limited to tobacco, marijuana, cigars, cigarillos, pipes, kretek, electronic cigarettes, hookah, vape, nitrous oxide, salvia or opiates. Illegal drugs and smoking any substances will result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation and a $750 Excessive Cleaning Fee. Please note that the premises have recreational smoking detectors.
- Pets are not allowed anywhere on the property—unless the reservation explicitly states otherwise—including but not limited to Siamiese, Persian, or Sphynx cats, Abyssinians, Macaws, Parakeets, Clownfish, Garibaldi, Bulldogs, Terriers, Retrievers, Hounds, Labradors, and most regretfully Corgis (we like them the most). $200 Pet Cleaning Fee will be charged for signs of animal presence.
- Open flames, candles, fireworks or charcoal grills are not allowed anywhere on the property. Heating food over the fire pit table is PROHIBITED, as it can damage the gas pipes.
- The laundry hours are 8 AM to 10 PM to protect our neighbors from late night noise and nuisance.
- Our exterior home security cameras protect our home and our guests. Unplugging, moving, or blocking the view of the cameras is PROHIBITED and will result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation, as well as charges for any damages to the equipment and for reinstallation costs by a licensed security company.
EXCESSIVE CLEANING POLICY
Checkout time is 11 AM, unless a Late Check-Out was requested and approved. Our cleaning company requires the entire time between bookings to prepare the home for next guests. We will charge the reservation holder’s account for a $75 Unauthorized Late Check Out Fee per every additional 30 minutes after 11 AM.
We love and respect our cleaners, and we believe that they should be paid a San Diego fair wage for all the hard work they do. Our standard Cleaning Fee is calculated to cover regular cleanings between most reservations. We ask that you please take out your trash and wash your dishes—these two small tasks allow us to keep our Cleaning Fee more affordable. Our Cleaning Fee excludes a few items, such as excessive spills, stains, or glitter and confetti removal. If our cleaners invoice us for Excessive Cleaning Fee after your stay, we will charge the reservation holder’s account for the same amount. The following list includes some of the most common Excessive Cleaning Fees that we have incurred in the past:
BBQ grill or fire pit cleaning - $75 Major spills or stains on rugs, sofas, beds, sheets, comforters, or towels - $100 Rearranging furniture, removal of decorations, such as balloons or signs - $100 Glitter or confetti removal - $250 Biohazard cleaning of bodily fluids, such as urine, vomit, or blood - $250 Smoking of any kind - $750 Mailing lost-and-found items - $30 plus Shipping Cost

The Bamboo house
Chic house with designer level decorative finishes just as pictured! Well appointed and clean! Working class neighborhood which is a short about 10 min drive to Coronado or Little Italy. Parking is abundant in front of the hour during the day. Tip: would Uber or Lyft at night because parking becomes more scarce late evenings. Enjoyed my stay! Would rent again!
