“We refused to check in and had to find other local accommodations. The directions were off by 1 mile, requiring getting locals to help find the place. When we got there we found 1) No way to secure our belongings, since door locks were not working, 2) no A/C in the main rooms and 90 degrees without fans, 3) Open access from the public beach, 4) cockroaches, 5) bad neighborhood without the listed local restaurants and shops, 6) Poorly maintained pool, barbeque, and other amenities. The room I received was not the same as what was shown in the description, and there were ants throughout the room. “The view from this place breathtakingly gorgeous and the staff is super friendly. The rooms inside was superb and exceeded all our expectation. My suggestions would be for them to have proper signs at the entrance of the sharp turn before you go up their hill, since there wasn’t any signs and it was easy to miss. Second, for them to treat the sewer system near the Polaris room since the smell was really strong from the outside. We didn’t spend enough time outside since the smell was overbearing.”
