“After an 11-hour drive with three kids, we arrived with high hopes. The outside cabin/wagon area is adorable, and the amenities were perfect for burning off energy. The deluxe cabin features two bedrooms (queen, twin bunks), a pull-out sofa, and a kitchenette. Unfortunately, the two mini-splits couldn’t cool the space, even set at 64°F, and the mattresses were incredibly thin.
Things turned worst at 9 PM when we uncovered the beds. The queen sheets were filthy. I found a spare set for that bed,...

“OK for the price paid, but stay started off on a bad foot. Hotel does not have an elevator and I have problems with stairs. Our room (two queen beds) would have been on the second floor. Only a room with a King sized bed was available on the first floor. When we got to the room, cleaning was in progress and there must have been a problem, because the room had an odor of a strong air spray that was still there in the morning.

“I just slept and left, so I didn’t use any featured amenities, but otherwise it was a comfortable room. There was a regular continental breakfast that was included with my booking, but I probably wouldn’t pay for it separately. Overall, though, I’d recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Amarillo. It felt very safe, and the property was nice.”

“It is a lovely unit. I was traveling with elderly parents and the shower/tub didn’t have a mat. It was very slippery for them. The unit was super clean. It is next to the highway. You can’t hear any traffic in the back bedroom, but you do in the front bedroom. However, it wasn’t a bother for us and a sound machine was provided. We loved the ability to do laundry too!”
