“Honestly, so much dirtier than I was expecting based on its 9/10 rating. I don’t mind an older hotel when it’s well maintained but this one left me feeling disappointed and very relieved we were there for only one night. Corners of the room were filled with dust and the walls have never been wiped down. It was quite gross. It was apparent that years of drinks had been spilled on the wall behind the beds. “The staff was as helpful as they could be. 1st our room didn’t have a trash can. 2nd the fold out couch mattress had springs sticking out of the mattress. 3rd the hot water for the shower only got to warm and the control handle is wrong. When put to hot the water is cold and when put to put it’s cold. The middle was warm. 4th Bathroom door would not shut and lock. 5th the hot tub is out of order. 6th the pool water was cold even though it’s indoor. Overall for $180/night this is the worst hotel...

“We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is in an amazing historical building with a unique story. The renovation was well done. We found the bed comfortable but the pillows were terrible. We traveled with friends who both had trouble with their toilets and showers but ours was good. The speakeasy was fun but the drink selection wasn't to our liking. How do you run out of amaretto on a saturday evening? The workout facility more than met our needs!”
