Hotel in zona San Jacinto, Galveston

“This hotel staff was less than accommodating. There were no towels in our room, we had to ask and then go with staff to get them ourselves. We never had washcloths in our room for 4 days. The staff would just stare when asked questions and not respond. We had to pay for parking, what a joke. WORST hotel stay ever!”

Leaking toilet supply line (was fixed later on first day), water dripping from ceiling during rains, gap under entry door an inch high that could allow insects entry, cold water shower, slow draining bathroom sink, parking was on the street and first come first serve, television connection failed multiple times. Shower tile work was amateurish with cracked and mostly missing grout, exposing edges to my sensitive feet. I don't mind that this is an older...

“This beautiful historic B&B was a joy to stay at. The breakfast was so delicious and had a great variety of items to choose from. I was especially impressed that with son with allergies to nuts, soy and dairy was able to eat the breakfast!”

“This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table....

“I’ve stayed at this location on 3 different occasions over the past several years and I’ve always been very happy each time. I particularly enjoy the pool bar(Longboards). The bartender, Tyler, was great; very friendly and personable, and great service. I definitely plan on making future stays.”

Only 1 usb on 1 lamp and not enough light in rooms. Also, no privacy in bedrooms since you have to walk through 1 bedroom to get to the other bedroom so if you are with another couple, it was hard to go to kitchen or take a shower withthe other couple still asleep or changing.
