Family-Friendly Oasis with Pools, Great Location in Quiet San Jose del Cabo

This was our family favorite among the three rentals we stayed at during our 9-day trip to Baja! The property, located at the end of a cul-de-sac, felt like a private oasis while still being conveniently close to main route 1 and amenities. It’s surrounded by other condo communities and just a short walk to La Comer for groceries. While the room decor is dated, everything was clean, functional, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a day at the pool or beach. It is an amazingly clean property! The water pressure in the shower was amazing, and the well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals or mix up margaritas.With three different pools, our two sons were constantly entertained. The staff at the on-site restaurant, El Patio, were kind, insightful, and patient with us practicing our clusmy Spanish.This was the rental where we spent the most time because it truly made us feel like we were on vacation! Fantastic option for its price!

Good trip

Everything went very well except my car got hit by a golf ball from the neighboring golf course. Also our room was not ready in time but they gave us a different room.

Sam Jose resort hotel

The property is a good place to stay, on a quiet side-street but within easy walking distance of the beach, hotel district, and the "Mega store" for everything else you need. The pools are the popular main attraction (since it's inadvisable to swim in the ocean given the undertow). The only problem is that the kitchen facilities (in the more expensive suite) are sub par compared with a regular condo, at least if you're expecting to cook. There's no knives for cutting, no wine glasses, there's a microwave but no dishes that can be used with it, and our particular unit did not have a stopper for the sink that fit, so we had to wash dishes in a pot. We reported this to the management but no reply. However, the front desk folks are friendly and helpful, such as recommending a less expensive Covid testing site that the nearby ones.
