“We stayed in 2/2026. The negatives that need some major attention: Inside the place: BLACK MOLD, & uncorrected water damage to the ceiling, & baseboards in multiple rooms. Paint is worn. Appliances rusted. Master shower doesn’t drain (fills up when you first turn on the shower & doesn’t drain for an hour). Guest shower door doesn’t close. Corners of rooms dirty/grimy. “Right on the water, comfortable beds, like a treasure hunt to get there, but we loved the adventure. Not for elderly as wooden staircase to sleeping quarters with same outdoor stairway to kitchen and second bath. Still, fun place to stay with excellent communication from host.”

“There is a complete misrepresentation about on site parking. There are paid lots near by, but up to you to secure a spot. The lot that “they recommended” doesn’t even do overnight parking. Additionally, the apartment was not clean upon arrival. “The property was just as beautiful as shown in the photos. Unfortunately, we ran into a problem when we arrived—the gate code didn’t work. We tried to sort it out through the VRBO chat and attempted to contact the host several times for help, but sadly, we didn’t receive any callbacks as requested.
