“Our family with a mix of Canadians and Ticos had the BEST time at Casa Cielo Rojo. House and property are gorgeous and Matt was an outstanding host!! Beautiful tropical landscaping and views of both mountains and ocean (at a distance) were highlights… stars were incredible at night!! House and casita are beautifully decorated and made the perfect location for our family meals… Location was super convenient to explore many beaches - with a little bit of a drive. In our experience, a 4x4 vehicle...

“Very remote location and instructions for requiring a 4x4 were provided last minute. There was stuffy smell which required few hours to go away. ”

“Accomodations as described, no AC but fans ok. Property is gorgeous, owner on site and very friendly, beautiful scenery and hiking trails... A TRUE ranch experience! Meals a bit pricey for what was offered, but there is a full kitchen. Note, keep all food in fridge due to ants, this is mountain life! Pool was pristine unlike others where we stayed previously. We would definately return! We would definately return.”
