“Sweet people and wonderful views made the stay worth it! Enjoyed the fridge and chilled water. Off the beaten trail (so quiet) but near really good food and pretty much everything within a 10 minute walk. “This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. The rooms are NOT what are pictured here. When we arrived we were told our room was down the street. We were walked there by a hotel staff who showed us a door off the busy street, and down a dark and dirty flight of steps. The view is incredible, but it stops there. The room was dirty - the kitchen was beyond filthy with food splashed on the walls, an unlevel refrigerator, and a water container that looked unkept and unsafe. There...

“A lot of value for the money. Nothing fancy but a quarter price of some other hotels and I had my own private room and bathroom. The owners were very friendly and it was a good location.”

“Good points: -The house seems to be a relatively new construction . -The second floor room has a decent view to watch the sunrise. But the house is not in the lake. -The kitchen was well equipped. Regular points : -Lots of Construction around that starts at 6:45AM - From the main road to the house is dirt and rocks so You have to carry your suitcases. -Far from the embarcadero or main are in town, a good 30 minutes walk or 10 minute Tuck Tuck that cost Q10/ $2 US quetzales per person...
