“We were really disappointed with our stay. Staff were very unhelpful. Hallways not clean. Given a room with a view of garbage cans and gas tanks. Another guest arrived on a red eye at 10 am and was told her room would not be ready until 2pm! Far from airport. Very limited ameneties, not even conditioner or enough towels. Will not stay here again ”

“La struttura è bella e ben tenuta con un bel giardino e vista panoramica. Il gestore è stato molto cordiale e la colazione è buona e abbondante. Nota negativa hanno diversi cani che entrambe le 2 notti in cui ho soggiornato hanno abbaiato per tutta la notte non facendoci dormire. Peccato che non se ne rendano conto, dovrebbero fare qualcosa a riguardo.”

“This lodging is a hidden gem away from Poas but close enough to get to the crater within 20 minutes. The views from the dining area were spectacular. The owner, Cindy, communicated clearly and often. She provided excellent directions to the property which is located high up on a hill in a residential area. The bedding was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Serenity Ecolodge for a stay near Poas Volcano. I have nothing but good things to say about the...

“This Hotel is terrible!!!
The owner is very unpolite, like he does not care at all about the service and like he is making you a favour for renting the rooms to u.
We reserve the rooms on the website, but when we arrived he asked for more money than what was shown on the booking, because of some taxes we found out were supposed to be already INCLUDED!
We were just too tired to argue so we just paid....
At least we would have liked to have a good sleep but.... The room on the street are just...

“Outstanding stay! We came for the gardens, and they did not disappoint. They were beautiful and extremely well maintained. The gardeners were great and helped us locate some birds.
