L’escapade – 152 Suzanne Drive – Seagrove Beach, FL

Overview: Experience historic Old Seagrove at its best in “L’escapade”. Meaning “the escape” in French, this classic beach cottage is located at the end of the street and head of a cul-de-sac. It is an easy stroll to the beach via several public access points as well as a wooded beach trail easements to the public Seagrove Beach. Centrally located on 30A within walking distance to Seaside’s shops and restaurants as well as the Publix grocery store, this charming home has 4 bedroom (2 kings, 1 queen, loft with twin trundles) and 2 baths. The large driveway allows for ample parking.

Inside: Featuring an open floor plan, the living, dining and kitchen are all conveniently right inside the front door. Living room has a leather sectional and LED SmarTV. The spacious dining table seats eight. The kitchen features solid surface countertops, ample cabinetry and appliances including dishwasher, side by side fridge with icemaker and electric range. The home has high speed wifi service and a Bluetooth stereo system with two speaker zones. (While there is a fireplace in the living room, it is for owner use only.) There is also a screened porch off the living room with an outdoor dining table and seating.

There are two spacious king bedrooms, a smaller queen bedroom and the fourth bedroom is up in a loft with a full-sized spiral staircase. The master bedroom features a large private bath with jetted tub and separate shower as well as double vanity sinks. The hall bath has a tub / shower and vanity sink as well as a door to the adjacent king guest bedroom. Both of the king bedrooms have doors opening to a spacious screened in porch overlooking the pool. Both of the king bedrooms have large walk-in closets.

There is a large laundry room with super capacity washer and dryer.

All of the bedrooms and the loft have wifi-connected SmarTVs such that you can use your own accounts to watch your preferred streaming shows. Note: This home does not have standard cable TV.

Outdoors: Enjoy the private heated pool in the backyard (pool heating is $40 per day extra). There is ample seating on the pool deck including 2 loungers, and a dining table that seats four. There is a gas grill on the pool deck connected to the gas line so you never run out. A privacy fence makes relaxing at the pool a true escape! Rinse off from the pool or beach in the outdoor hot/cold shower on the side of the house. Parking for 4 cars in the circular driveway.

Beach Access: The beach is three blocks away via three different neighborhood routes leading either the County Road 395 Beach Access or the Azalea Street Access or the Camellia Street Access. Seagrove Beach is all public beach so there plenty of room to spread out.

Included Amenities: 8 beach towels, a cooler, 4 back-pack style beach chairs and an assortment of beach toys.

Beach Gear Program: We provide $40 / day of beach gear credit that you can use towards bikes, umbrellas, kayaks, paddleboards and more! (Minimum stay 3 nights and maximum credit of $280).

We have a $100 cancellation fee for any cancellation outside 90 days. Inside 90 days, there is no cancellation unless we can re-rent the property.

We can provide personal, professional and friendly advice because of the intimate knowledge of our area and our vacation homes. The Beaches of South Walton are tucked away in Northwest Florida between Destin and Panama City on Scenic Hwy 30A, which runs for 18.2 miles along unspoiled sandy white beaches and sea oat covered dunes, past freshwater coastal lakes, saltwater inlets, through hardwood hammocks, long leaf pines and superb coastal scrub oaks. The beaches of South Walton are famous for the shimmering emerald blue-green brilliance of the Gulf of Mexico, sugar white fine sand beaches and unspoiled natural beauty.

We had a great stay at L’escapade, and Payton was very helpful when we had questions. Their binder was very thorough and easy to quickly look something up. Their recommendations on local restaurants was spot-on. We were close enough to walk to the beach and did that often. We had 4 teen girls who loved hanging out at the pool! This was the best-stocked house we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we could ask for and the house was spotless.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house is very well setup with everything you need. The location at the end of a cul-de-sac is quiet and perfect for families, as the main drag is very busy and would be a little nerve racking with littles going outside to play. We will definitely be returning here on our next trip to the pan handle.

My family and I had a wonderful time here. Pool, cold AC, enclosed patios and close to the beach. The daily allowance for beach rentals a good perk as well. We opted for bikes so we could ride to Seaside and Grayton Beach State Park.

This house has all the amenities that you have in your own home, so there is no need to worry about things that are not provided because they are for your use. Great pool and deck along with a very comfortable layout of house. Restaurants are all basically a 5 minute drive.

We had an amazing week at L'escapade! House was perfect. Very clean. Kitchen was very well stocked with appliances, dishes, and all the extras you need for a getaway (i.e. spices galore, ziplocs, cookware, etc...). Heated pool was a huge bonus. Living area was so comfy and bright! Will definitely book again!!!

This house was amazing! It was perfect for my family. The neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors were so kind. This house felt had everything we needed from extra pool towels, chairs, boogie boards, and some extra pool floats. Payson was very responsive when I had questions about recommendations about dining and activities in the area. Our family will definitely be returning here for our next beach trip.

The house was just what we expected based on the listing. The pool was so fun to have. We would go to the beach in the mornings and hang at the pool in the afternoons. It was about three blocks to the beach but on a hot day it was much easier to take the bikes that we rented as a part of the rental. You can't beat the beach access. It wasn't crowded at all and had crystal clear blue water. Being able to walk to Seaside was great too. We had older lids and would let them walk there by themselves too. It all felt very safe and charming. I would highly recommend.
