“Wow!!! What a find. The owner, his wife and staff were so welcoming and made our trip so enjoyable. The grounds were calming, and the rooms big bright and comfy. The location is so close to Taroko National Park we were able to enjoy their fantastic breakfast, beat the crowds, get a full day of hiking and exploring the breathtaking park, and get back to the best shower I’ve ever had before heading to the Dongdamen night market. Best two nights of our entire 10 days on the island.”

“We had an amazing relaxing, calming stay at Sophia’s property. It was sparkling clean, well thought out and Sophia drove us to her favourite restaurants for lunch and dinner and picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. Couldn’t ask for better service! Plus breakfast was delicious, highly recommend staying with Sophia. We stayed a couple weeks after the earthquake and the property is very safe and has no damage.”

“We were in this hotel when the big earthquake hit (epicenter about 10 miles south) and it was very scary. The hotel staff were so nice and calming and reassuring. they got right to work cleaning up all the broken stuff and checking all rooms and reassuring people. “The location is not far from the train station so that was great. The hotel itself is ok. I’ve noticed most hotels in Taiwan never seem to clean the windows so it looks dirty. Glass elevator looks dirty because the windows are so dirty. Same with the windows in the breakfast room which is too bad as there is a nice view.
