“The staff was friendly and nice. The van driver gave us rides to and from Snow Monkey Park and to the train station - very helpful! We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast came with the plan. We also enjoyed the inside/outside hot springs. Affordable hotel with excellent customer service!”

“Rooms were clean, towels and japanese robes replaced each day. The onsens were clean, the outdoor one was usually empty, just for me. The gentleman at the reception was accommodating to us and gave us a few rides from the hotel to different locations (station, monkey park). ”

“This Ryokan was quaint in the perfect way. It felt traditional without the modern flair. The owner was amazing and drove me to the snow monkey park at no cost. The onsen was perfect and tatami room was gorgeous. Amazing view around the town with the snow.”

“Very welcoming Ryokan, with stylish old style room. Just take care not to make noise. But the village is really cute in the middle of the mountain with the 9 public hot springs. ”

“Impeccably clean, nice hot onsen, super helpful front desk. Cozy comfy beds. We don’t try the food but we will next time because it smelled delicious. *expedia site is WRONG - it’s not a 3 minute walk to ski resort - It’s a 30 min drive.”

“The room was everything I dreamed of having in an Onsen. It was beautifully appointed and impeccably clean. We chose the room with the western beds and found it quite comfortable and very spacious. The staff was extremely helpful. Spoke English well, and the food was amazing. The presentation of both our breakfast and dinner was a beautiful display of Japanese aesthetics. We loved the mineral bath, and we love the fact that we had an indoor and an outdoor mineral pool.”

“Clean room. Room size was good. Friendly staff. Free to borrow umbrellas. Free coffee in lobby. We did not eat breakfast there. Dinner was good. We went in November, hotel didn't seem very busy. The town seems quiet. Very close to train station. We went to the snow monkey park and Obuse. ”
