The Nest offers the perfect setting for a memorable vacation, with easy access to all the amenities that Sapphire Valley has to offer.

Relax and unwind by the firepit or enjoy a delicious outdoor meal with your loved ones at the outdoor dining area. Take a dip in the community pool, play a round of mini golf or hit the links at one of the top-rated golf courses in the area. Kids will love the playground, while sports enthusiasts can enjoy the soccer field and well-equipped gym. The arcade is perfect for rainy days and the ski slopes are just a short drive away. Plus, with private lake access, you can spend the day paddle boarding or kayaking on the water. Walk into a beautiful open concept living, kitchen and dining area. There is a king suite on either side of the spacious living room as well as a shared powder room. Upstairs, houses a fun bunk room with 4 twin beds, one of which has a trundle that turns the bed into a king. The room has it's own private bathroom. In addition to all of these sleeping quarters, the basement / game room has a second living space with games, access to the outdoor fire pit and a fun swing.
- No smoking in the house.
- No parties or unexpected guests sleeping over.
- If you damage something, let us know so that we can arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Lastly, have fun and enjoy the mountains!

Things to know:
- Cell service: Connecting to the house wifi for calls will be necessary.

Prior to check in a rental agreement must be signed for the property management company.

This house is pet friendly, with a one time additional fee of $150. Maximum of 2 pets, dogs are the only pets permitted. Approved pets are not allowed on furniture (including beds and sofas) at any time. Pets that are left unattended must be crated. Any damages will be charged to the card on file. Owners must clean up after their pet and dispose of all waste. No food or water is to be left outside; this will attract unwanted wildlife. Pets must be potty trained.

We enjoyed the memories we made in Sapphire Valley area. The home was perfect for our family. (4 adults and 3 kids). Plenty of space and close to everything.Whenever we had a question Stephanie responded quickly.

Relaxing stay at the nest

We loved spending our Thanksgiving at the nest. We found everything we needed to cook in the kitchen (except a wine key!) The beds, bedding, and towels were high quality, and we loved using the gas fireplace to create a cozy environment. It is easy to access the local Ingles and the town of Cashiers. We used to amenity center one day - you need to go to the welcome center to purchase your amenity cards. Our only suggestion is a curtain over the sliding glass door in the main room and some pot holders! Stephanie, the property manager, provided excellent service. We were super sad to leave and hope to be back soon!

Wonderful vacation

We spent 3 weeks in this vacation home, which was in a beautiful, forested setting and enjoyed it immensely. Stephanie, the host, was extremely helpful and responsive, which was a huge plus because it appeared we were one of the first guests and there were a few glitches (how to work the living room lights & ceiling fans, a bear, one planned and one unplanned power outage due to a storm). She got us flashlights, a bear horn and instructions on the lights very promptly. The house is well equipped for cooking and about 15 minutes from the Ingles grocery store in Cashiers. It was very comfortable and recently remodeled, so many of the furnishings are new and all were in good shape. The nearby Gorges State Park has some nice trails and a great education center and there are numerous other trails for hiking in the area. We loved our stay here and will come back. One word of caution: if you are truly terrified of bears, this area may not be the place for you. A young bear came to the house 4 times that we know of and we saw another bigger one while walking the neighborhood. We only took trash out on pick up day to avoid encouraging bears, but this area is their home and the neighbors we met see them fairly regularly. For us, it was a nice treat. Tips on the house: The hot water is reversed at the sink (on the right) in the front right BR and it takes longer to get it there and in the upstairs bath.
