Really close
One of the most responsive property owners we've ever worked with. Jeremy responded quickly every time from the time of our booking through the end of our stay. The location of the property is excellent. Anything you need is nearby. Food, gas, hiking trails, parks, access to Anna Maria Island, all really excellent. One of the reasons we chose this property was the outdoor space pictured in the listing. Unfortunately, during the spring, this space was virtually unusable. The property has several beautiful oak trees and these trees were busy doing what trees do in the spring - dropping seeds! It created a mess. We swept the deck several times but it was useless as everything would be covered within an hour. (My car was also a mess due to the constant falling seeds and oak waste. I washed my car 7 times in 3 weeks and I could have washed it more! I understand the owner can do nothing about this and the space may be perfect 11 months of the year. The outdoor furniture was also quite dirty due to the constant debris falling from the trees. You will want to cover the outdoor furniture with a towel before using. The inside is really, really close to being good. But many little things kind of added up to make for disappointment. I don't think we would stay here again. The layout of the house was fine but things felt a bit tired. It seemed/looked like there were DYI projects that were just a bit off or unfinished. T
