Although most of the place was clean there were some very noticeable things that did not make our stay the best. There was mold in the shower and the blinds in the windows were very dirty and had holes making them not very effective. The living room furniture consists of a small love seat and uncomfortable chair. For a place that sleeps 6, a couple of couches are needed for comfort. It is obvious that this was a very rough house that has had some renovations done but there is lots of evidence of parts that have just been painted over. The caulking around the windows and an cracks in the stairway and concrete does not make it for a nice vacation home. The house was not clearly marked and the yard and houses around had camper trailers and dumpsters parked in full view. The grass was not cut and you can't open the window at night because the house is right on hwy 17. The house exterior needs a lot of work to make it look welcoming. I would not have felt safe in the area if not travelling with men. A warning for those who require accessibility, there are narrow staircases down to the basement or up to the mainfloor as you enter and 7 stairs up to the front porch door. It was rated 9/10 when I booked and it was rated by workers who needed a place to park their trucks. This is not a vacation home.
