“Room was spotless and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Staff were absolutely fantastic. Really friendly and helpful. Only thing missing was the lack of air conditioning in the room . This said i would definitely recommend a stay here.”

“Good position and parking. Great welcome from the employees at the pub in the afternoon. But we found a lot of hairs in the shower and some around the room, good temperature but not good cleaning, also the mugs for tea were dirty from previous usage. No lift. The waitress at the breakfast probably hates her job, was quite cold and served a very burned toast, at my request to change it the reply was simply that wasn't possible.”

“Mycket trevligt hotell mitt i skogen. Vi blev uppgraderade till rum nummer 5 som mer eller mindre var ett litet hus...mycket stort rum och ett badrum som var näst intill lika stort. Restaurangen var bra, frukosten kanske kunde vara något bättre. Kommer definitivt tillbaka.”

“Siamo stati sistemati in una stanza nel sottotetto che era fredda. La vecchia stufetta che doveva riscaldare non funzionava. “The property itself was a lovely upstairs room, generous in size and very close to the rail station with a direct line to Edinburgh. We had a two night stay and found the bed to be very comfortable. A generous soak bath tub is in the main bedroom. Little snacks were a pleasant gift. Small issues were disappointing.On arrival there was no soap in the container and We were disappointed that despite asking for the room to be serviced, the soap was not replenished, toilet paper not replenished and...

“After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues”
