“First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!”

“Two four-legged hosts, Bella and Sammy escorted us to Bird Camp which was warm and welcoming when we arrived! They stayed a bit to make sure we felt at home. This was one of the quietest and most peaceful locations we have stayed at. After a day of skiing, we enjoyed relaxing in the sentou - custom built Japanese bath house. “This spot was ideal for us. Beauty, privacy, quiet, comfort. We used it as a base camp for exploring the Adirondacks. Felt remote but nearby North Creek had everything we needed. We had glorious weather and were outside most of the time, but the cabin was big enough for reading and playing games if we had needed to be inside more.”

“The cabin was beautiful, lots of natural light. There was a snow storm the day we arrived and they had come and plowed the large drive the next night so we didnt need to shovel much. Everything was very clean and the host was very helpful and responsive! Would definitely stay again!”
