“This place was amazing! It was a style of Palm Springs. Parking on site, 2 min walk to the beach, coles across the road, with cafes, restaurants and walking tracks. The owner was so nice and explained how he started this motel. The rooms including bathroom, kitchen, living room was huge. Between 4 people the place was spacious for all of us. They came to clean our room every 3 days, restocked the fridge with complimentary drinks, chips and protein balls, it was so good. Only a 10 min drive to...

“Room didn't seem clean despite the smell of floor cleaner. Ants, live and dead, kept dropping on the bed from a non-working light socket above the bed. Had to move the bed to other part of the room to allow us to sleep. Resort was noisy, with a group in the picnic area below our room. For all these issues, we could not report any of these due to very limited hours over the weekend that the reception was open.”

“This is basic, but also the smell was disgusting. Every time I walked into my room there was a wall of wet carpet/wet dog smell. What was beyond frustrating was I had to compromise my privacy to get fresh air in there. That is to say, the windows were sealed shut, and the only way to get any air in was have my door open. “The lady I dealt with at reception was so kind and helpful. The room itself was spacious, clean and modern. Perfect location and in walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Would stay here again. The outside of the property was a bit unassuming however it’s not really a big deal.”

“Location was as I had hoped, lovely beach access, bus stops, Currumbin Sanctuary and general store opposite, easy walks to Currumbin Surf Club and Tugun. The apartment was quirky, furnished with odd furniture and op shop style decor, a noisy single bed was unsuitable with squeaky springs. People noise from other apartments was often disturbing and being directly under the flight path to the airport was also an issue throughout my stay, I wouldn’t recommend or return. ”

“You get what you pay for. Cramped room for 4 people but we're able to use a table & chairs in the carpark.”

“Unfortunately I booked during the New Years and when we arrived the free wifi wasn’t working. The TV, microwave & fridge weren’t working too. We had to call and follow up every day until the 4th day we stayed that they fix the wifi. The TV, microwave & fridge were somehow connected to the lightswitch so we had to sleep with the light on if we want our food to stay fresh in the fridge”

“Pros: Location is excellent and front end staff fantastic. Parking under building a superb bonus. Cons: apartment rundown so cost reflected this. Hot water was near non existent unless both showers used simultaneously. Lucky we didn’t need to be there a lot so easy to deal with.”
