Excellent value for money.
We had the Deluxe room and it was worth every penny.
Spacious, comfortable bed, super clean bathroom, tea and coffee.
I am a well travelled person and this was super comfortable.
The view was amazing, breakfast over the road and free on-road parking. Perfect. The hosts were super kind to make us comfortable with check in and out. A lovely visit to Lowestoft. ”
“Quirkily excellent. On arrival it is not obviously a hotel since it says it is a retreat for ex services. But they do operate as an hotel, so that is the first step. Then you find it to be full of memorabilia for all branches of the service, good breakfast though not till 8am, no evening meals, but short walks bring you to good food.”
“All excellent but for lift closing at 10, I have walking difficulties so it could have been an issue, it should be on the website for others to see as they only have one disabled room on the ground floor”
“Fantastic stay in the Hatfield Lodge Room 2 was great, spacious, quiet, clean. The shower room was lovely large, i feel it maybe a cleaning product used but it seem to leave the floor very slippery and the shower could do with some anti slip texturing on the tray and a handrail for safety. Only down side needs plugs next to the bed. Apart from those points would happily stay again. ”

The hotel is friendly and welcomes furry friends.
