Then curly wurly was a great idea instead of biscuits in the room. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. “A perfect escape! We got to park the car and enjoy the sunset and quiet while soaking in the views from the hot tub. We weren’t brave enough to try the pool at the start of May but will be back in the future.

“We stayed 3 nights and the experience was excellent. Clean, quiet and superb breakfast included. Ate dinner in the pub twice which was very good. No downsides, just that there was no cot available for the baby. No issues as we were told that in advance so brought our own. Also the single bed in our room was very squeaky.

Breakfast was a feast of locally produced sausages, bacon, eggs, black pudding and bread. I never eat black pudding but this was delicious so give it a try. Friendly owner was very helpful.”
