“We adored our stay at Owl Cottage. The accommodation itself was lovely and clean, the decor was great and it had fab provisions for a four-night stay. The main draw for us with younger kids was the outside playground, pool and games room and these really didn’t disappoint. As we had a mid-week stay, we didn’t have any issues sharing these with the other cottages. The bbq was fun, and we really lucked out with the weather. The only tiny thing we’d suggest is providing some fly spray / fly tape...

“We stayed for 7 nights. All the pre-arrival information and directions were very detailed. The cottage was spotless and well equipped, in a delightful setting. Accomodation was very comfortable and relaxing. With the addition of a pool onsite. The local pubs are only a short drive away, and there are plenty to choose from. We couldn't recommend the cottages more highly and will definitely return in the future.”

“Our twelfth stay in coot (first in 2012) excellent cottage, very comfortable for the two of us. The location of Cranmer is perfect for cycling (complete with a secure bike store).whilst the country lanes and by-roads offer almost traffic free routes. Wildlife is always around and the in house activity room and swimming pool are available should the weather be poor. Already booked twice fior 2026”

“We enjoyed being able to use the pool, kids playing on the field and all the other facilities like the games room. Staff were very helpful when we needed them. Location great for visiting some of the sights of Norfolk.”

“Beautiful cottage just as I’d hoped, perfect for our family. Well equipped, everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful outlook - would love to come back for longer in the summer months to make the most of it. The children loved the games room and the swimming pool, and the private swimming hour was perfect. Ideal location for exploring the beautiful Norfolk coastline. We will definitely be looking to return in the near future.”

“We had a short break in this lovely cottage. The area is very near several places of interest and beaches e.g. trip to see the seals, Sandringham and several lovely little towns like Burnham Market, where we had a lovely meal in No. Twenty9 bar and restaurant. The staff at Cranmer Country Cottages were always helpful and the swimming pool lovely. Our 3 year old grandson enjoyed spending time in the Playroom.”

“Given good directions to property. Instructions for parking and accessing the property out of reception hours were easy to follow. Fakenham not too far away for grocery shop. WiFi was not terribly good but the whole area around there seems to be much the same. We didn’t use the leisure facilities as we were only on a short break as our first visit to Norfolk. So much we wanted to see in the area. One little issue was the low flying aircraft which gave us a bit of a fright the first night...
