“For my purposes of visiting an unwell relative, it was perfect. However, if you don’t know the area it appears a bit run down. The appartments themselves have good security with cctv. I booked through travel site and found communication was not easy. I have a feeling the owners are new to letting their appartments so hopefully teething issues. The cleanliness was ok but I again suspect that it was a rush job to prepare for our stay. The apartment location is central and a short walk to the train...

“Very comfortable unit in a country setting away from the congestion of York. The only negative point was that the WIFI was weak in the unit we were in. Nice, historical location. ”

“We could’nt get access into the property and couldn’t get hold of the managing agent, spent 2 hrs trying to get in, gave up and the whole area was fully booked. Absolute nightmare. The check in instructions were to download an app and then there were no details like property number, none of the key boxes were responsive. “Dirty. Down a dirty alley. Smells of smoke and bad toilets. Well that was even unflushed!!. Sticky surfaces, worn down furnishings and bathroom, lack of tlc and maintenance. ”
