“The pool and tiki bar were great, although the bartenders were kinda rude. The breakfast was not the best, oversalted or stale. The waffle, yogurt and cereal were ok though. Our hotel room was pretty dingy and we were told we would get room service only every other day but they didn't come once.”

“Only one elevator was working and the indoor pool was closed half the time we were there. We had to ask for new towels twice before receiving them. Overall the property seemed pretty run down.”

“What a wonderful stay! This oceanfront motel offered everything we needed for a relaxing girls’ weekend. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the convenient beach and parking access couldn’t be beat. Although it’s an older property, it was well-kept, charming, and an excellent value. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved it and appreciated the affordability without sacrificing comfort. We can’t wait to come back! 🌊☀️🏖️”

“So many postiives to write here. 1-the location is superb. One block from the water and a couple of blocks walk to some of the best restaurants in town. The Oyster bar was so good we visited twice. 2- The B and B is perfect. A very warm host who instantly made you feel at home. There is a happy hour with draft beer every day! 3- The room is perfectly spacious, immaculately clean 4- Whatever you need, the host will provide. “Expedia’s description said our room would have a stove to cook on but when we arrived that was not the case. The hotel said they couldn’t fix it because we booked through a third party. The lady at the desk every time I went by or called was not friendly at all. We did have a fridge, microwave and a few dishes but no dish soap was provided. We had to buy our own dish soap because even after asking they never brought any. They also took all of the dish rags and never gave us another in return....

“Enjoyed the staff and property. Close to Southport and the coast yet close to local restaurants not just “resort” priced restaurants. Breakfast was ok but not many fruit offerings and items weren’t always refilled in a timely manner.”

“5 on 5 for sheer convenience. Directly backs to Wrightsville beach. 1-2 min walk. 1 on 5 for wifi: wifi would not work inside our room. 1 on 5 for cleanliness of room: you could feel sand on the floor on your bare feet inside the suite . It wasnt vacuumed throughly (best bet - rented out back to back without cleaning). There was the odor of “old wet towels” throughout suite. It’s definitely not the ocean air. The suite needed to have been aired sufficiently. May be run a heater to remove...
