“This was a rabbit warren of a hotel, with rooms of all shapes and sizes scattered throughout the site. We were initially given a very dark room, which was a strange shape, and a yapping dog next door; we were given a much better room when we complained. There was a problem with the wifi connection throughout our stay, and as the mobile phone signal was poor, we had to leave the hotel to get an internet connection. “The room was great, clean, tidy and lots of space and the value, I thought, was excellent. Checkin was a little slow, felt more like a pub with a side hotel. It felt the barmaid was busy with customers, taking priority over hotel guests. That said, everything else was as good as could have been expected.”
