This was a great little spot for me, with a very unique room. I needed to be close to the hospital, so this was perfect. Easy to get Uber's or just to walk. The staircase upstairs was a little narrow to haul my bag up, but beyond that, a great experience. The text communications about how to get into the room was easy to follow, quick responses to any questions I had and when my appointment ran a little long past checkout, very kind to work with me to make sure I didn't get locked out of my room. First time using my phone as a key, that was cool and very easy. I'd happily stay here again.

The virtual check in process was easy and the staff was instantly accessible with any questions I had via their text service. They extended my parking after check out for free which was so appreciated. The room was nice, had all the amenities and a very nice bathroom. There was no door between the bedroom and bathroom. I did not hear my neighbors when they were in their room. The location was almost too good to be true. The neighborhood was extremely walkable and close to anything you could possibly want. That includes that club that was directly across the street and going off between 10pm-2am. Seemed like a great time, I felt like I was there. The Art Inn did provide ear plugs which was thoughtful. This is a historic house converted into a bnb style inn. You could hear doors slamming, people walking up and down the stairs, and conversations that were being had outside the rooms. I will stay here again with the intention of checking out the club across the street, not if I have to work in the morning.

The shower was very nice...a renovated older home, and I liked the decor. It was a little off putting that there are no real people or desk there, though. Also, I noticed the loud, booming music nearby despite the earplugs provided. Very convenient location to the hospital where I was visiting family, however.

The room was small but enough for what we needed for a couple nights. It was well equipped though with everything but a microwave. Even 2 water bottles and ear plugs which we did not need. We chose to use the key cards rather than the app to get into our room. It was very simple. We would stay again for a short visit.

Sleepless in Seattle
There is a night club directly across the street from the art inn and there was music playing until 3:00am. It was so loud there was no way the windows of the house could keep out the noise. If it weren’t for the noise, I still would not have been able to sleep because the bed was so soft. Both my husband and I felt like we were sleeping in a bean bag chair. Lastly the curtains didn’t block out the outdoor light so it was almost as bright as day the whole night. If you want to sleep at all while you are in Seattle I do not recommend this Inn

this place is a glorified air bnb. they locked us out early and if we didn’t find someone working on the property idk what we would've done because i didn’t hear back from the provided number i called. “the secret room” is just a basement. this is advertised as a hotel/inn but it’s not.

Ideal location. Clean. MANY good restaurants within walking distance. Reasonably priced. Did not like the entry app since it didn't work repeatedly, next time I will ask for a key.

The property itself was clean. The room was cute but the hot water was limited. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The house like set up provided no noise barrier. Other guests were coming and going well after midnight. My room was next to the front door so every time the door slammed shut, every time someone went up and down the stairs, it echoed and vibrated keeping me up. The surrounding neighborhood was questionable but I think that’s just Seattle. I would prob stay again because even tho it was still almost $200, it was cheaper than anything else in the area. I needed it for the proximity to the college.

Honteux et inacceptable !
Une des pires nuits de ma vie ! Pas d'accueil physique, check-in avec l'application est peu fastidieux et surtout ouverture de porte avec l'application très aléatoire et très long ! Pas très agréable après une journée de visite de devoir effectuer toutes ces démarches. L'hôtel ou plutôt la chambre d'hôtes (sans hôtes !) est situé loin du centre ville dans un quartier résidentiel. La chambre est propre et joliment décorée, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer une nuit. Les points positifs s'arrêtent malheureusement là ! Les tarifs sont exorbitants vue la situation de l'hôtel et surtout, le point le plus important et le plus inadmissible pour moi c'est la présence d'un bar discothèque juste en face de l'hôtel ! De la musique jusqu'à 3 heures du matin et ensuite les personnes qui discutent et hurlent jusqu'à 4 heures du matin ! Impossible de dormir, forcément ! Je trouve ça inacceptable, inadmissible et honteux de faire payer des gens alors qu'il n'est pas possible de dormir, je ne comprends pas ! Le but premier d'un hôtel c'est de proposer une nuit pour se reposer ! Le but de cet établissement c'est de faire de l'argent, clairement ! Il devrait avoir l'obligation de préciser qu'il y une discothèque à côté, c'est de l'arnaque pur et simple, je suis déçu et dépité de ce genre de comportement ! Passez votre chemin si vous avez envie de dormir !

The room was small but the arty walls made it fun. Location is good. Housekeeping needs to be improved substantially. Dust/dirt under the bed, behind doors etc. There was only one coffee pod given over the course of a four day stay for two people. Toiletries also only served one person. Very stingy given the price of the room.

Small room, but very clean with good bed and shower, which matters most. Easy to get to from downtown on red tram. Good dining options nearby, since this is a college area.

Odd “Hotel”
Firstly, this is not a hotel. It is house that has been split into a bunch of separate rooms. I was “upgraded” to the Secret Room. A large basement suite will very low ceilings, two king/queen beds, and it’s own bathroom. At 6’2” I kept hitting my head on the beams on the roof and had to squat in the shower. The bathroom door was noticeably dirty, the shower nob was broken off, and the room smelled musty. On the upside it would sleep 4 comfortably and there was free water. Overall, I would not stay here again.

No staff on premises. No contact check-in. Must download app and give personal information like DL(I hope the don't get hacked) Uses NFC electronic locks but room lock failed. Tech support is nice but talk faster than you can move fingers through app so many repeats resulting in a longer than necessary check-in. I'm not coming back so I'll be deleting that app ASAP!

Room was a lot smaller than anticipated and pictures shown. The room wasn't the best cleaned. The good aspect is it is in a convenient location with food close by and gas station. Nice views as well.

I loved room 204. Only downside was the couple who arrived at 11;45 PM and promptly turned on the loud TV! I turned up the AC fan so I didn't have to hear them. I love the proximity to Seattle U and will definitely stay there again. Staff were nice - called me on the phone to explain check in!

Sleepless nights in artsy hotel
Most uncomfortable bed I ever slept in. Super soft mattress combined with thick hard pillows was tough on the back and neck. The room lacked places to put your stuff only one super small desk where most of the space was taken up by the coffee maker. Weird details like the fridge in the bathroom with the safe unbolted on top. Loud music from the bar across the street until 2 am and then the noise from guests leaving. Not quiet until 3 am. The neighborhood was nice, but I would not recommend booking this hotel.
