“struttura nuova e fatta con un certo stile, ma poco confortevole. Camera piccola, caldissima, senza appoggi,senza armadio, finestre senza zanzariere, bagno senza porta. Pulito e con una discreta colazione, ma ho passato una notte infernale, non lo consiglio.”

“The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! ”

“My STRONG advice is to pay extra for a superior room. I stayed the economy double and it was not nice. Do not stay in 113, we had roaches in our room. I also stayed in 43 (I think) no roaches. “Clean room that is in need of someTLC. The Pool is beautiful and so is the view from the patio where continental breakfast is available. The staff is very helpful. AC works great when there is not a power outage, which happens about 2 hours per day. Shower worked and there is bar soap and shampoo along with towels. “Do NOT plan to arrive early to this hotel or be treated kindly. We arrived around 3:00 pm knowing that check in is at 4 pm, but most hotels can accommodate an early check in if the rooms are ready. We explained that we would like to check in so we could freshen up prior to our 4:30 pm cab pickup and dinner reservation at 5 pm.
