“Stayed with my Wife for our first Wedding Anniversary. We stayed in Room 2. It was absolutely incredible. There were a few extra touches such as anniversary card, truffles and macrons and rose petals on the bed with towels folded into swans. The copper bath was huge. There was a hot tub in the garden area that was also perfect for two. There was a well stocked mini bar with some thoughtful extras. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was faultless. We had breakfast served in our room...

“Stayed at Travelodge Sedgefield start of May 2022. Travelodges are what they are and usually offer great value for money. This is a clean and well locatel motel- seemed ideal. On this occasion I was charged once by Expedia and again by the hotel- not such great value for money then. Neither company admits to being at fault and I'm still waiting for Expedia to ring me back. I will continue to use the odd Travelodge but it won't be through a third party. ”

“There were several family members who stayed her for a family reunion and it was perfect. Caitlin was a lovely lady who looked after us she was extremely kind and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The rest of the staff were just as nice and friendly. The meals were great and huge, it was a shame that we couldn't have stayed longer to try one of there roast dinners. The rooms were spotless and very well kept. If we needed extras for our rooms we only needed to ask. We would definitely stay...

Unfortunately, the pub was shut as it was a Monday, but I just crossed the road and went there for food and drinks so no problem. The room was beautiful, bright, very clean and very spacious. It looked newly decorated and done very tastefully, felt like I was staying in a stately home, not the local boozer! I mentioned to some locals I was working with that I was staying here...
